You may know that I had a thread on the old forum titled "A wish for more energy". I'm no longer active there, and I was banned again, so I want this thread to be a continuation of that one.

Lately, I've been focusing on probiotics and making homemade kefir with the purpose of diversifying my intestinal flora.

I've been taking LactoBif complex from California Gold and L Reuteri from Biogaia for about 3 weeks. Initially, I didn't notice much until recently.
For the last couple of days, I had well-formed stools daily, which didn't happen in years. This is a sign of reduced intestinal inflammation.
I'm currently not using any laxatives or anything like that and I'm having multiple BM per day. This is big.
I think it's most likely the Lacto Bif having a positive effect. I will keep taking it for a couple of months.

I've also started using red light for stress reduction and sleep. It does seem to stimulate digestion when applied on the lower back.
I've also took a B1, B6, B12 complex for a month. It improved some neurological symptoms that I've had.

This forum doesn't make much sense

Just return to nature. The more natural food gives me the most vitality. Last night I ate grass fed mutton and organic buckwheat and was skipping around town like a glass eyed child

Eat unwashed vegetables from a private garden for probiotics... Pull a carrot out the ground and wipe it on your trousers

Why the fuck should we take chemical waste vitamins, B1 would be found in wild boar meat... Kill a wild boar and eat it. Should be low PUFA eating a fairly natural diet.... Rest is found in lamb or beef for B6 and B12 no?

@questforhealth You realize that saying "eat natural" presupposes that people know what is or isn't natural, and also that your vision of what nature entails has always been that way for tens of thousands of years. Meanwhile, we only have eyewitnesses for a few thousand. Manufactured B1 might not be "naturally occuring in food" but that does not mean that it is unnatural for mankind to bring order to nature and manufacture vitamins and use them for their advantage. In fact, this is a part of the basis of nature, that mankind subdues the earth in a mutualistic relationship.

Yeah but that's what I said. Gardening is part of that. So is hunting. Even Dr Peat himself said natural food is better because it contains enzymes that help the nutrients be absorbed better.

It's also cheaper to do it that way especially with the times we live in

Do you really want to eat coal tar b1? We would laugh at someone if they said they are a rockatarian but it seems this forum is full of rockatarians. shocking me now.

@questforhealth You can laugh all you want cause the b1 chemical is still the b1 chemical. People laugh at those who would dare say that sodomy and 8 month abortion is immoral, so being laughed at over nutrition is nothing.

I don't take the vitamin's I just know that your mindset is really destructive and limiting if taken to its logical conclusion because I took it there doing things like not eating salt cause "its a rock" (aajonus) or not drinking water cause "its a solvent" and doing all sorts of crazy things. Also doing things like not cooking my foods due to a false view of what nature consists of. I know people who have been stuck in that mindset for over 5 years and still aren't "detoxed" yet.

But a synthetic vitamin only feeds the physical body at the end of the day no matter what we think it will do for us

we have to consider it all and think of the big picture in our lives

there needs to be a push for agriculture that grows food to be nutritious not to grow food just for the sake of growing food or we are going to be needing more and more supplements

our lives don't have to be so hard if we stand up and fight for what is right today after all

Latest blood test came out bad.

                  • High LDL (154 mg/dL)
                  • Low DHEA-S
                  • High-ish Prolactin (336 uUI/mL)
                  • Low Test 300 ng/dL
                  • High TSH 3.4 uUI/mL

I only slept 5 hours that night before the blood test, so that might have had an influence. But it's still bad.
Thinking of trying exogenous thyroid again, but on all the combinations I've tried in the past I've felt worse on a long-term basis.

I made the mistake of switching my doses way too often.
I should have stayed on a dose for a minimum of 2 weeks, ideally 4-6 weeks.

                      This time, 'm going to try 50mcg T4 + 25/ 50 mcg T3 for a month.

@GreekDemiGod which brand did u use ? i guess idealabs? Ive had such problems with tyromix and tyromax such a high adrenaline response with pounding heart all nights. Dont want to bash haidut here but liquid thyroid can be a hit or miss. I know high adrenaline from synthetic t4 only, t4/t3 combos, NDT and Glandular. But these two was accpetional never had this in my life.

I don't know your background (apart from what you said in your post) or your diet in general, but I would consider that something is wrong with your diet or routine, especially if supplementing thyroid with a stable dose doesn't help you and you "feel worse on a long-term basis" just like before, since thyroid increases the need for nutrients.

Thyroid supplementation has to be a support for a higher state, not a mask

Had a brain MRI yesterday. Found out I have a deviated septum and inflamed sinuses. This would explain my chronic stuffed nose, loss of smell, morning fatigue and headache, poor, non-restorative sleep.
Will likely do septoplasty in the coming months.
And I usually sleep on my back, which is only worsening. I will start using bigger pillows and sleep on my side.

@GreekDemiGod If it makes you feel any better, these things are somewhat common findings on an MRI. Somehow I fixed by chronic sinus problems by getting my Vitamin D levels restored to normal (which I think fixed PTH). Though recently spring allergies have been a little annoying. I couldn't bring myself to do a septoplasty.

Started using Gelatin, bought 2 bags of 2 kgs, I'm taking 2 tbsp at each meal bloomed in water, so 6 tbsp/ day.
I'm hoping to have a beneficial effect on my digestion, and to reduce my intestinal inflammation.
Already noticing more bowel movements from it.

                                  • 75 mcg T4
                                  • Aggressive Strength Testosterone Booster (1 month of this almost doubled my T levels, from 300 to 590)

I saw this post by Danny Roddy and it perfectly matches my symptoms. Hopefully getting the dose right and bringing my temps and pulse to optimal levels solves them.

*Hypoglycemia, steatorrhea (fat malabsorption), and gynecomastia are three of the most common liver problems associated with hypothyroidism that I know of. The right dose of thyroid hormone has been used to correct all three problems. Along with all the typical markers of hypothyroidism (e.g., pulse, temperature, cholesterol), the hormone prolactin has been used to assess the severity of liver disease.

Motility is still low, constipation still present. I have to take Magnesium Oxide and Cascara daily to get the bowels moving. I've also been eating gelatin regularly (6 tbsp/ day), it does feel soothing to my digestive tract, but don't feel digestive symptom improvements from it. Helps my sleep, though.

I also started taking TUDCA, Glutamine again. I've used them in the past on and off.
Also drinking dandelion tea regularly (for liver/ bile support)

Bowel movements regularity is now better. And I’m no longer using Mag. Oxide or Cascara Sagrada as I ran out.
Coffee and cigarettes are useful in triggering a BM.
But my chronic bloating hasn’t much improved.
I’m at a loss on what to try next for digestion.
