How about Vitamin A? -
@Androsclerozat, I used to get that feeling drinking water and watermelon juice. In my case, it was due to them crashing my blood sugar. I used to track my sugars via urine with a refractometer.
-
@Jennifer what helped to tolerate them?
-
@Razvan, mainly thyroid supplementation. I experienced improvements in my blood sugar while on a fruitarian diet and Dr. Morse’s protocol—for the first time in my life, I was making it through the night without needing to pee—however, I think that was mostly due to avoiding meat and eggs, which along with water were my main triggers. Within an hour of taking my first dose of thyroid, the severe hypoglycemic episodes (convulsions leading to syncope) I was experiencing at the time ceased, however, it was at least a few months before my liver disease (sludge and gallstones) resolved and meat and eggs no longer crashed my blood sugar. I still don’t crave much plain water, likely because I consume so much fruit and sweet tea, but I tolerate it just fine on the rare occasion that I do.

@Androsclerozat if you look into the dry fast club on twitter and youtube, they know more about the benefits of dehydration more than anybody. I know its not Peaty but I tried a 12hr dry fast and it went very well. Its about 3 times a stressfull as a regular fast so you really have to be careful. Introducing water and then food back into the system is also a delicate process.

In ten years Peating, I haven't drank water except for maybe 2, 3 oz mineral water, maybe once a day in the evening. My fluids are derived from food, OJ, any fruit juices, fruits, coffee.

I think I need to look into that aswell. Because polyuria is very annoying. Especially when trying to sleep. It happens that I get excessive urination every time I drink too much water. If I could find a solution for polyuria that would be nice!

What benefits you felt ?

@Androsclerozat This helped me for a while. But I increased my electrolytes (cal, mag, and K specifically) and needed to up my intake but only by 1 bottle of water a day.

@Androsclerozat I just lost a lot of weight really quick and it fealt cleansing. I haven't done it again though because its was very stressful. Im sure I'll do it eventually though
