I suspect at least 50% of you would be better off if you just followed this diet:

Yea probably. I don't think there is a whole lot wrong with this sort of diet. Problem is all of the additives, fortification and pesticides in food staples. There does seem to be some societal shift towards healthier versions of these foods that I hope takes hold in some sort of government policy, even RFK was talking about the dangers of seed oils recently.

Brotha I grew up on the healthiest fanciest grains you could imagine. I also consumed a lot of high quality vegetables. I’m here because that didn’t work.
One thing you can’t reconcile with this, is that the continental breakfast all our grandparents ate for breakfast lunch and dinner had triple the calories/sat fat, and no veggies, and they all did better than the are doing…

I can't actually see the diet. Do you have a more direct link?
-
@RandomUser it's just the picture of the plate

@LetTheRedeemed This post was more directed towards the people taking the peating advice too selectively so that their diets comprise highly of saturated fat and sugar, or something highly neurotic like completely avoiding starches, fiber
-
@mikeyd it may look neurotic to a healthier person (not pronounced “healthy-yay” no matter how well off you may be), but I’ve been in such a gut and serotonin compromised state, that I could only consume sugar and saturated fat (consequently lowish fat)

Unless I'm in a health forum, like RPF and this, I would not even know gut problems are a thing. I'm not sure if this is a matter of being more exposed to a group, online or not, that makes me more aware gut issues are quite common across the world, or that this is a phenomenon unique to the North American (except Mexico) experience and to a certain extent, to the Western European/North American/Down Under experience, all following the same world medical order of the AMA and its accomplices.
Too much antibiotics? Too much persorption from using GRAS ingredients approved by the FDA-USDA combine? Too much vaccination? Too much incest in the research and industrial and academic and media that passes off toxicity as beneficial and scientific weaving a lifelong series of silent intoxication and then blaming genes for it?
I don't see this kind of gut hypersensitivity in the Philippines. I suspect this isn't a thing in the whole of Asia, and even in Central or Eastern Europe, nor even the mideast and Africa.
This situation makes it more difficult to eat starch and even some fruits. Seems like the imposition of sensitivities to natural foods that aren't even processed is the result of a carefully planned conspiracy by those whose aim to riches and power is by a systematic process of disabling a human's built-in natural defenses and ability to balance itself within.
