Non-dietary/diet method's to upping BMR to 2-3k calories?
-
A part of my new year's resolution is to supercharge my BMR to 3k calories. I regularly consume things like mushrooms, sugar, milk, coconut oil, & other pro-metabolic foods. I would also like to know any other ways to improve/supercharge my oxidative metabolism/mitochondrial turnover. So far, I know pure aspirin, methylene blue, & red light.

Thyroid is another possibility to consider. Searching the RPF for uncouplers can provide additional ideas.

@DavidPS Site seems broken. Gives me an 'oops!'

@Pooooop Efruxifermin or pegozafermin induce FGF21 and greatly increase BMR replicating the effects of protein restricted carb-overfeeding. Might be hard to come by but worth looking into.
"29% of patients taking efruxifermin reported increased appetite, but this didn't seem to affect how well efruxifermin worked for weight loss”
“Efruxifermin significantly reduced body weight gain after 4 and 26 weeks, despite increasing food intake.”

@Pooooop FGF 21 induction via methionine/cysteine restriction

@onliest I was gonna say this too but he was looking for non-dietary methods. Definitely a very powerful tool.

@Serotoninskeptic ooops I can't read. I'm doing honey diet + using gelatin as primary protein source to get lean. Non-dietary just blast DNP
