Any experiences with DHT?
-
@Hando-Jin It's pretty awesome. Definitely increases strength. Calms your mind. It can be very pro libido. I suggest taking it with preg and dhea. That being said, the greatest feeling I've achieved metabolically was taking dht along with progesterone.

haidut needs to release a dht suppplement asap
-
@jesse I think its been already made.

What sort of dosages do people use here?
-
@milkgains_bro sadly discontinued
-
@angel do you know further details on why etc.? I’m assuming too close to the regulatory line.
-
You can buy your own DHT powder and dissolve it in DMSO or Ethanol.

@milkgains_bro whats a good source

Best hormone. DHT > all others.
Clarity, energy, estrogen reduction, decreased inflammation and autoimmune like no other hormone.
It's not magic, but it's damn good.
It's even more helpful when you're actually sick, while T is much more hit-or-miss

@brightside You should bring your transdermal recipes over from RPF, that was a quality thread. Do you have a current preference atm? I've only ever used pure DMSO.
-
@skylark I appreciate it!
I was thinking to do that, but I want to re-write a bunch of it, since my opinions developed and people presented some new information. Plus my writing style can sometimes be a bit too convoluted, so wanted to simplify things a bit.
I'm using only DHT/DMSO, and 3.5% T in ethanol + a bit of hand sanitizer for the IPM and carbomer. If I can get my inflammatory issues under control, and subsequently the aromatase under control, I was curious to run a mini-cycle just for the heck of it.
For that I was debating using either a lotion or an ethanol based liquid, but I would for sure use tons of menthol. I feel like the lotions do draw out the life of the T, but using short ester T would be even more interesting in a lotion. Perhaps once-a-day application would be possible without spiking too hard.

@brightside very good. I still have a bag micronised T base which I haven’t even tried yet, so I’m going to give one of these recipes a go. I’m not really that fussed about T though, as I find DHT so effective for almost any type of injury/ailment - and I haven’t noticed any suppression dosing up to 30mg, just a subtle and short rebound maybe 24hours after a dose. Do you think supplementing DHT alongside T will have a more stable/constructive effect than T alone?
-
What doses are people using? Topical or oral? Thanks
-
@angel I believe he no longer advertises it. If you purchase something like Metergoline and ask for 11 Keto DHT(same price) you should get it. I would check with Haidut first.

@risingfire
What ratio progesterone to dht did you use? I find dht a bit adrenergic at times(I’ve had it raise blood pressure when taking too much). Progesterone would surely be the best complement (antagonizer of this effect) and I was thinking around a 1:5 dht:progesterone ratio but never really settled on one.I think this study explains the blood pressure effect of supraphysiological dht.

Yeah, same experience here. The estrogen and cortisol antagonism seems to almost perfectly balance out its AR stimulation, so that you don’t get much suppression at lower doses. (like up to the dose you said)
I find that using the T gives me a bit more of a kick and fun mood, but if I had to pick between the two, it would still be DHT.
I would just recommend that if you do use the T, you probably want to do a full replacement dose? That’s what I generally lean towards.

I've used it, but you're probably going to have to buy it raw and mix the solution up yourself. It's also technically a Scheduled III controlled substance, so I'd advise caution when getting it. Domestic labs don't go through customs, worth keeping in mind. Sad it's so restricted, but it is what it is I guess. Never count out the FDA to sabotage someone's medical autonomy.
I got DHT, from two sources, and I've always worried about quality control since it's from "underground" sellers basically. But both times my reaction was pretty decent. GABA like effect for me, although I think the GABAgeric effect is less pronounced then it is with androsterone. It was very thermogenic, raised temps similar to thyroid or progesterone.
It was okay but I like normal testosterone better. When applied topically, normal T will also generate plenty of DHT as well. The only negative is you gotta be mindful of excessive estrogen elevation. But in my opinion it's worth it so I can get the benefits of both DHT and the qualities unique to T. It's hard to describe, but I start to feel "off" when my T:DHT swings too much in favor of DHT. Some people would insist it's because it lowers estrogen. But I think it's mostly related to the GABAgeric effects.

@brightside well that’s the thing, a full replacement with T just seems like too much trouble, like I’d have to source hCG and maybe an AI if I want to mitigate potential risks? And consider PCT… like my life is rather unpredictable so I couldn’t guarantee the amount of stress I’d have to meet at a given time in the future, let alone getting these substances across borders..
So for now I might just play around with very low doses of T, just to get a feel for the hormone rather than achieve any results.

@jamsey I've tried so many different variations. If I'm being honest, many times I've winged it. 1:1 or 1:1.5 ratio sounds the most common with something along the lines of 20 mgs of dht and 20 mgs of P4 being the most common. The combo is euphoric.
I've noticed an increase in blood pressure on Androsterone and Anavar. Not quite the same case with bio-available DHT
