Best Asprin protocol?
-
@Norwegian-Mugabe Ray recommended taking 300mg -1G of aspirin with a meal as safe.
Important to have enough glycine and vit k2 if you take aspirin daily because it is depleted by it
-
preg can also help aspirin syptoms.
-
@Norwegian-Mugabe My personal recommendation is 750mg with a little baking soda taken after lunch. Lots of people talk about side effects, needing to take it on a full stomach, et cetera but I’ve taken it on an empty stomach before and didn’t notice anything negative. Make sure you’re getting plenty of k2. Contrary to Danny Roddy, I don’t recommend taking it before bed - lots of studies show that it interferes with sleep.
-
@aristotle I have no k2 but I rely on aspirin, heavily. I can tell you that taking pregnenolone & aspirin is a done deal for sleep. I have also drank 3 cups of very strong coffee with milk and honey and fell asleep as well using this method, though I'm not testing its reliability.
Amazing stuff

@aristotle Thanks for the answer. are there any reasons to believe that 750 is a sweet spot. 500 or 1000 would be more practical for me as I have 500MG tablets.
-
@Norwegian-Mugabe I misspoke, it’s actually 650mg. No reason other than the aspirin tablets I use are 325mg each.
-
@PUFADestroyerPPO any vitamin k2 supplement recommendations?
-
@aristotle I've been taking 1g before bed often with a glass of milk with maple syrup. No sleep issues. I might try it after lunch to check effect on sleep quality.
-
@CO2-Maxi yeah give it a shot. I had been taking it before bed too, for maybe a couple weeks, and grew suspicious that it wasn’t helping my sleep quality or maybe even negatively affecting it. Then I searched around and found it was common knowledge that aspirin disrupts sleep.
-
@lanadelesoteric idealabs because you could order their other unique supplements with them
But really as long as its mk4 and without any harmful additives that is near optimal
-
I've been running taking a gram of asprin 4x a day with 2-3mg K2 with each dosing and feel great. I usually drink/eat something before but have experienced no GI upset.
-
@aristotle sleep data looks good but i'll switch to daytime aspirin dosing
