I am anticipating a drone display in the new years celebration. Computers are used to coordinate a swarm of drones for entertainment.
Drones are considered to be uncrewed machines (see). They may be preprogramed and so they can be unmanned.
I consider robotic dogs to be drones. They are going to become more commonplace in the future.
