@NateHiggers Pure polyethylene plastics are relatively safe. Some are chlorinated (not pure PE). Polycarbonate plastics leach estrogenic phenols and are therefore very toxic.

@lamb I've temporarily stopped thyroid 3 times. Never gotten sick or really had any long term negative effects. If you want to do it, I recommend:
- Switch to T3 only 2 weeks before stopping, then taper off over a day or two.
- Stop in the summer when your weather forecast is sunny for the next few days
- Have lots of coffee and/or caffeine ready if you want to remain productive
- Take aspirin
You will feel pretty low energy for a couple days. Expect your lactate threshold to be very low. Do slow breathing exercises if you have difficulty sleeping.

@thyroidchor27 In my experience, if you are lifting, eating more carbs will help you lose fat while still keeping muscle and recovering from training. Eating pure stearic acid or cocoa butter is a waste of calories and money

@thyroidchor27 I know about him. Remember, he's obese and has been obese for many years, probably because of some pre-diabetes type issues. The point of the high stearic acid diet is that it keeps you full for a long time which is useful if you are legitimately obese and have the leptin issues that come with that. Would not recommend if you are just looking to cut while lifting regularly.

I wouldn't use either when cutting unless I was completely sedentary. If you're cutting while training, carbs are the most muscle-sparing macro. Going low fat (10% of calories or less) is my go-to.

@rayp I tried 500mg one evening with ice cream and it felt like it crashed my blood sugar. I felt normal again the next morning.

@nigga you're only 17. Just drink milk and you will probably grow a few inches in the next 3-4 years no matter what. I grew like 2 inches at 19 years old just eating random food like beans and chicken

@Chud In the US, only low-fat milk is required to have Vit A, so whole milk is less likely to have it than low fat. Costco organic 1% seems to agree with my stomach, but I have not actually called them to ask what emulsifiers it may contain.

@MFF this dose works mostly as a precursor for NAD+ and helps to lower free fatty acids. Timing doesn't matter that much in my experience, maybe every 3 hours if you want to really get it perfect. I sometimes take 50-100mg in the morning with breakfast and it feels like it helps my digestion.

RE: Baking soda/Sodium Bicarbonate. How much is too much?
@Nabokov the main problem with large doses is stomach upset. In particular, it can give you brutal diarrhea. A teaspoon after a meal is a pretty high dose but you can repeat this for each meal. I like a half teaspoon after a meal personally.
