What do you guys think of Trump now that he won
I never had faith in either candidates.
Lots of ties to Israel.
Trump seems like a puppet for something more sinister.
But I could be wrong. -
How to handle blood sugar spikes at 17
Ok so over summer and basically all my life I've had consistent pufa intake not all my meals but lots of fast food etc.
Over summer I ate a shit ton of sat fats and pufas but I thought it was fine because I thought sat fat = test.
I started getting bad diabetes symptoms painful urination blurry vision pain in my feet because as soon as I heard about ray peat I threw sugar especially Mexican coke on top of all that fat.
So I thought I learned my lesson and I started to cut out pufas which helped but I was still mainly eating sat fats and low carb. Then when I still try to add in fruit my body cant processes it So I get very bad blood sugar crashes.
This morning in school after eating yogurt apple and maple syrup I had a terrible crash and felt like I was going to pass out.
I also have very frequent urination and thirstiness and feet pain still.
Another main problem is I need to eat like every 2 hours or else I get really tired/lightheaded and cant focus also sometimes accompanied with a headache.
Also I have to drink fluorinated water right now and I don't get great sleep as I'm living in a cramped apartment with my family.
My current forehead temp is 97 degrees (Although this may be inaccurate I did have my hoodie on also I ate 2 hours ago and I have had temps as low as 96 or so.So as i switch from High fat low carb to high carb low fat how can I manage these blood sugar crashes what should I be eating?
What should my carb to fats to protein ratio be as someone my age?
Should I avoid starches like pasta and bread?
Im trying to stay low stress.
Any advice is welcome
-Thanks -

Agree on SSRIs and other pills - read Robert Whitaker "Anatomy of an Epidemic" for more on the prozac/depression drug complex - I'm
Yeah you definitely doged a bullet I was put on them at 14 and im 17 now and they lowered my test so much during those 3 years and now I have wide hips. But also within weeks after I finally tapered off them I started growing again I may have stunted my height growth from them but I am now getting hair all over my body and some beard hairs. Although this could be coincidence. I finally am starting to get my emotions back and being able to connect with people again its nice.

@Corngold
Oh dude I've been paranoid about the weather modification I live in a very liberal city so i wouldnt be suprised they are for it to fight "climate change". Very strange cloud movement patterns. Makes me live in fear. Also its not easy to switch from mouth breathing to nose breathing if someone has a narrow palate, ressced maxilla and tongue tie. however these can be fixed.
But please explain how running, rap music , and tackle football are bad. Also what if its not mainstream rap like drain gang like its just creative music not stuff to make people dumb.

@Serotoninskeptic
ITS ALL CONNECTED HOW THE GOVERMENT KEEPS US SICK.
Its not even just the seed oils and emfs there are a ton of their bear traps that kids today fall into:
Vaccines
SSris/pharmaceuticals to "treat" mental health
Retractive orthodontics causing small jaws and sleep apnea
Theres a ton more.
As I become more active in this community I hope I can spread awareness to people abut others things that are terribly effecting their health besides just diet. The one I hear talked about the least is improper jaw development/retractive orthodontics/mouth breathing.
Main stream health just doesn't talk about it. -
RE: cancer
what do cancers feed off of?
Is it fat or sugar or methanine?
(I heard haidut say its fat)
What is their main food source? -

RE: Where do I start 17m
@b1 No some times we hae like beef stew or lamb chops and steak that isnt made with pufa but its the breakfast cereals and pb&js for lunch that overtime lead me to have a high pufa intake

Where do I start 17m
Hello I'm 17 years old and found out about this space recently.
I am having weird symptoms like
low temps after meals
unquenchable thirst
excessive urination
always hungry
cant handle sugars at all
very skinny
some low t symptoms
I basically have only ate fat my whole life I basically have got 1-2 decent meals a day with my family but mostly just one good meal a day for the past 17 years.
All my meals my whole life have been PUFA and high fat and low sugar.
I'm trying to switch over to sugar but my body just doesn't know how to react and I get blood sugar swings.
I also blindly followed the ray peat diet and other advice so I ended up eating fat and carbs which worsened my symptomsHow do I get my body to be able to start glucose oxidation instead of fat oxidation.

RE: The benefits of smoking, if any, may be due to lowering endotoxin and estrogen
@yerrag
I dont know your case at all but I do know that people with sleep apnea caused by small jaws and tongue ties due to improper development have low spo2 levels at night and often have lots of issues as there tongue falls back in thier thoat at night blocking air waking them up giving them a big shot of adrenaline so they cant fall back asleep. Also you cant breath as much air when your airway is obstructed by small jaws.
To fix this do palate expansion then tongue tie release then jaw surgery
Look up "jawhacks " on youtube to learn more its a silent epidemic
Not the ay peat perspective but just something I wanted to share that mainsteam health doesn't talk about -
RE: 3-4am waking
small jaws covered up by camouflage/retractive orthodontics you likely have a tongue tie and therefore you have small jaws there fore sleep apnea which causes you to wake up in the middle of the night when your tongue falls back too far in the throat blocking the flow of air then you body wakes you up with a shot of adrenaline.
To fix this do a palate expander then double jaw surgery and tongue tie release
