There's a new thread there slamming Smith for reposting an X post about transmutation of sexual energy into high productivity, and it's all getting slammed as witchcraft and demons lol

RE: Thoughts on cigarettes
@swordzonmyback I haven't tested it myself, but Id think organic tobacco through a water bong could be the cleanest and safest option, though I'm unsure how water soluble nicotine is (if so it would mean reduced nicotine in the vapor) .
Perhaps one of those electric vaporizers which work with raw leaf might work well.
Pipe or self-rolled tobacco without a good filter is a bad idea if you're a regular smoker, even if it's clean and organic tobacco.I smoke American Sprits organic with a filter, haven't had any issues with breathing and such (actually can still perform aerobically better than most of my non-smoking friends ironically). However, I do try to keep at least a 2 hours between smokes (if I'm smoking a lot that day) and a very high standard of health for myself, my liver & kidneys in order to manage damage. And I try to avoid smoking at least 3 hours before bed for various reasons.

RE: Thoughts on cigarettes
@swordzonmyback Nicotine-wise, I would think both can offer similar benefit.
Vapes could be an issue due to the base that's used (either propylene glycol or vegetable oil) and might even be worse for the body long term because of that.
I'm not sure about snus, but tI venture that may damage the sensitive epithelia of the mouth due to holding that concentrated material in there for periods of time, like how chewing tobacco would. I could be wrong about that though -
RE: Thoughts on cigarettes
@b1 I think there are a couple of variables to consider. Most mainstream cigs are chemical laden and the tobacco grown with pesticides, which entails a host of potential issues. Definitely opt for organic and unadulterated. I think some of the American Spirit types fit this bill, check the boxes.
Definitely avoid Newports, as those are basically toxic.
The other thing is quantity and it's relation to your body's ability to heal. If you smoke, even the cleaner ones, you're going to get tar and combustion metabolites, which the body will need to remove. Slower healing/detox will lead to buildups and downstream issues. I think there is something about aldehydes too, but I'm not clear on that, perhaps someone else can fill in that blank. For me, a good smoke is beneficial for mental sharpness and it's said to benefit testosterone levels. I'm not too certain about metabolic benefit, but as smoking tends towards appetite suppression, that could be an indirect boon to things like fat loss. 2c

These 2 are the dumpster fire of alternative health

RE: Topical Lugol's Iodine regenerates scar and completely removes it
@RawGoatMilk88 I'm thinking along the same lines, I have a micro needle roller & 5% logols. I figure to needle, then paint on some Lugols then apply a wrap of some sort similar to the study's approach. I'm not sure what to use for the wrap, possibly saran wrap (though I'm a bit concerned about microplastic contamination). Still figuring out the frequency. I'm also going to look into raising systemic CO2 as @thyroidchor27 suggested as a support. If I remember correctly the follicles run on sugars, so I may adjust my diet a bit for this. I was considering honey topically along with the Lugols, but the study says anything other than iodine and water would prevent it from working

@RawGoatMilk88 I'm considering trying a self-experiment

RE: Dr. Garrett Smith asks for help outing "little rat" charlie who owns and moderates the raypeatforum
Reading through that thread (correct me if I'm wrong) it seems it all started with Smith calling the 'latest thing' dextrose on the Charlie forum a fad lol
Not unusual for Smith to just attack anyone with ideas different than his current ones, from what I've seen -
RE: Dr. Garrett Smith asks for help outing "little rat" charlie who owns and moderates the raypeatforum
They turned on Smith? Wow that happened much sooner than expected. Here I thought they were all part of 'saving the world'.

RE: Topical Lugol's Iodine regenerates scar and completely removes it
Awesome practical study. Given it's influence on hair growth around scars, I wonder if Lugols topically applied to the scalp can spur hair growth for balding men

RE: Posterior Pelvic Tilt and Bioenergetics
@yeehawyinzer I had anterior pevic tilt and fixing that had a host of benefits (which I can elaborate on if that's desired) including improving my digestive function and regularity (though I can't say it affected the gut biome one way or the other).
If I had to guess, the benefits to fixing posterior tilt would be a long these lines

RE: Sleep Issues - Please Help
I had this issue for an entire year, but it's (seemingly) resolved for the past 8mo or so.
What helped me:- no caffeine past 2pm, ever
- no cigarettes past 7pm (still working on quitting)
- blue light filter on computer (flux for windows) and phone, linked to sunrise/sunset
- going outside in bright sun several times a day, most importantly in the early morning
- 1 hour walk with ankle weights after dinner 5:30ish
- 300mg GABA + 1/4 tsp glycine + Mg once the sun has set. 1:2 OJ:seltzer afterwards, avoiding eating anything but a bit of fruit (if that)
- no video games, tv shows or otherwise stimulating activities within 2 hours before bed
- 10 min spurts of bodyweight exercise throughout the day
- no heavy proteins withing 4 hours of when I aim to go to bed (especially animal protein)
- turning off Wi-Fi in the house at night
- sleep area clear of E fields from appliances, tvs, etc
- phone airplane mode at night
- changed my house lights to warm white, avoiding daylight bulbs like the plague
- rgb room light at night so I can transition room lighting from golden yellow at sundown to red after sunset
- reading a book an hour before bed
- using blackout curtains or equivalent to prevent the light from the stupid blue LED Street lamps coming in
- ensuring there are no little lights from any devices, monitors, computers, etc glowing in my sleep room
There might be a few more things involved, but this is what I've come to realize made a difference in concert

RE: New "Mission" of RPF
@Insomniac I think I remember you from the good old days of RPF. If that's true, it's great to see you here
Yup, this new pseudo-RPF is a hostile place if you decide to think for yourself and/or ask questions that emotionally trigger some of the super-christians there. Perceive, think, act indeed -
RE: Help me with a pro-metabolic protein drink with lesser known ingredients
@wester130 I throw a 1/2 tsp of Cordyceps in mine for the pro-androgenic effect
along with 1g glycine, .5g taurine and otherwise more or less the same as the what @Mulloch94 is doing.
For the sugar part, I cycle using organic maple syrup, organic raw cane (the solid block not the processed granules) and raw honey. -
RE: New "Mission" of RPF
I've lurked on the RPF for years and it was a godsend in many ways. But I'm so dismayed about the cult it has become, which has as little to do with RP and objectivity as possible, and viciously attacks everyone who even slightly thinks differently.
I saw this post this morning about some dude's self-experimentation with penis enhancement, another dude asks what looks like a genuine question about it, then he gets slammed for being a demon and the discussion locked so he can't even defend himself and nobody else can talk about the topic.
This is wild shit calling a dude a demon for not being lock step with the values of their Christian sect and the "no vitamin A" stuff.
