I think free speech may be a mistake. We need to start banning retards like this. Dumbest posts I've seen here have been from this OP. No better than one of those spam bots.

Won't even engage in the topic, it's just far too retarded to give time. Go eat grass retard.

Corp/industrial tier definitely seems a bit occult to me. If I had the facilities, I couldn't keep up with my own supply if I tried. And at that point I wouldn't need to. I'd slow down and chill out.

i actually am starting to think the reason conditions are bad (war and hate and unhappiness) is because of the cognitive dissonance people engage in when buying meat. everyone eating meat knows slaughterhouses are horrorshows yet just ignore it.

It's furnishing a demand not creating it. The pace is too quick. Something else is wrong. Pay attention.

Eating meat is probably, in the run of many centuries, primitive. Alike the intense exploitation of factory workers in the 1800s being improved somewhat by automation. Nevertheless socially (biologically) necessary and a situation that can be improved.

i equate it to the killings in wars where everyone knows civilians and children are being killed but feel powerless to stop it, and in fact we support it by continuing to pay taxes and go to work and respect the governments.

The western consciousness places abstract importance on abstract culpability. And so they float around questions like "would you work for the Nazis if given a good job offer?" The answer is expected to be "no", but the realistic answer is "of course". Which is in many cases proven by one's position in society already (working for murdercorps, and such)

This is because the western concept here lacks materialism. The enemy is destroyed by superior organization regardless of their abstract moral culpability, because right makes might. In the same way that the enemy treats us as lacking abstract value.

Anyways. Along the same lines I may get some flak for it but I think the long-term future of humanity is definitely industrially produced nutrient slurries. Animals only somewhat circumstantially, by nature of sharing a substantial amount of biology with us, contain substances we can use to live. No reason those substances, in the long run, could not be chemically produced, even though today we probably lack sufficient objective understanding.

This naturally places a substantial ourobouric kind of construction on civilization. But the same is already true of the availability of electricity: it takes some electricity to make electricity, which is why full grid blackouts take longer to recover from. Energy has to be injected to start the process.

Yeah yeah, "eat the bugs" and all that. But it's hard to argue with soldiers that can still eat even when you completely destroy all the biology in their home country in the hyperwar.

I'm laughing, you are funny Rah. Cheers to the slurry and the hyperwar.

                (Note it's not funny because I think you're wrong. I don't.)

Have you ever really been in a slaughter house or did you just watch youtube video's?
There's many smaller slaughter houses around that do not have horrendous practices. I take my hunted meat to a processing area where they also process pigs, cows etc and there's nothing freakish about it.

@eduardo-crispino No. Not in my experience. Just like anything else they show you some horror stories that are exceptions.

@happyhanneke I have a feeling most average industrial slaughter is a horror show. in any case, even when it is done to the highest standards it still seems brutal. on an idyllic farm killing the animal away from the others with a shot to the head is the best possible scenario. that is not happening to feed 300+ million mostly fat Americans their frozen beef patties at Chilli's® before they go to smoke weed and do a gang shooting

I saw a camel farm video for muslims and they slit the camel's throat without stunning it and it struggles as it dies, and then they eat its flesh near the kill site. I don't think I need even that in my life.

I am still thinking of how to justify shellfish.

@eduardo-crispino very easy to justify. Your body needs the nutrients to be healthy. If you can't afford grass fed or wild game , you'll get what you can.

People eating (even store bought packaged) meat are much more ethical and empathic towards animals than any vegans and vegetarians. Vegans just look the other way.... out of sight out of mind. And then feel superior for it. Any time I see someone eating some kind of soy sausage I see the holocaust that was behind it's production and get sick to my stomach. Worst of all, these animals died for nothing, only to make people more sick.

Based. Nothing else needs to be said. Does a lion think about the ethics of killing a water buffalo? No. It fucking kills, eats, and survives.

@eduardo-crispino There is nothing wrong with violence. Simple as. Modern world has you acting like idiots because it overgeneralizes true statements like "violence, if wielded poorly or for the wrong reasons, causes things to become much worse" to wrong statements like "violence is always bad", stripping all nuance from ethics.
