@bigdeuce I had the same issue when I was eating solid foods with liquids. For example my routine was to keep a balanced calcium to phosphate ratio, so whenever I ate meat, I would drink milk afterwords. This made me bloated and I was switching from constipation to diarrhea frequently.
Now everytime I drink something, I wait 1 hour at least and then eat solids. I upped my bowels to 2 a day more quantity and no bloating.
I feel way better this way
I believe water dilutes gastric acid
Soup in an exception since it warms the body
