@periander345 Great advice, I shouldve specified my goal each sprint is about 300M but I rarely make it that far. I just try and sprint all out to 300M. Usually fall short of that. I like to see the distance at which I have to slow down. But I think 5 explosive sprints is fine and not too much for me

@Nabokov Totally agree, and yes I was being forced to get vax or else I couldn't go to labs. It really sucked, but I discovered Ray Peat during that time which helped me a lot.

@oliveoil Park Ranger maybe good option...none of the rest will pay your bills???? except maybe farmer after some long, hard years of building capital & skills.
Maybe u should look at tech roles and do some certs in engineering or like cybersecurity expert and WFH. big need for cybersecurity, lots of job openings. if you wanted to do something easy in tech: HCM/Recruiting/HR.

I agree sprinting is anabolic... I hate seeing people jogging down the road but killing a few sprints a week is great imo. i just do about 5, 300M once a week for time. I rest as long as I feel like in-between.

@Nabokov Complicated question.
I had intended to become a doctor, but I gave up and switched majors when the "pandemic" struck because I felt the Big Pharma bureaucracy and BS would be too much for me to handle day-to-day. I think that was the right choice for me but wasn't easy to weigh and figure out. I just know being immersed in that environment with the added stress of debt and studying would've been too stressful for me personally.
But I think if you go into medicine, you can potentially have a fulfilling, rewarding career. Many people bemoan and shun the lengthy path to medical school, and years later, they are still incredibly unhappy with their own professional decisions and aren't helping anyone. So what was the point? In addition, you should look for a career that pays enough to support your aspirations (purchasing a home, starting a family, etc.). If this list you made is really all you want, maybe a WFH job in tech or consulting?
This is also something I'm still trying to figure out myself. I've been debating between going down a more adventurous road which would require working far longer hours and probably incurring unnecessary, stupid stress, or an easier, stress-free route that pays very well but could be totally lacking in any constructive development. I'm praying everyday but definitely leaning towards the stress-free role. I'm hoping I can develop and create my own adventures somehow down the road without the crutch of a career.

Thx for read. Last night I was reading a story about a soviet labor camp and the author mentioned all they would give the prisoners was aspirin because it "was thought to cure every disease." lol. I was thinking I'm surprised I haven't seen a long "history of aspirin" thread on X, especially with the interesting IG Farben slave labor factories, nazi war effort, and medical experiments.

@HoldenCox @bruh I agree with bruh- but if you were to add milk and gelatin to this plan, it could be a nice outline for busy days.
Potatoes: have many beneficial components, but they are also high in starch. Maybe just a few times a week is better (with butter to slow down the digestion of starch). If you want to eat potatoes every day, Ray said that cooked potato juice could be a safe way to provide the ketones that are beneficial for people with metabolic or digestive problems. (You can use https://peatbot.com/ and type in Potato Juice to find how to make it).
Liver: Peat recommended 4-8 ounces like every couple of weeks in general.
Carrot Salad: It does seem most ppl in the community eat the carrot salad every day, but I don't prefer this. You really never know the quality of carrot you are consuming, even if it is organic or whatever. I like to mix it up with white button mushrooms, and also Cascara Sagrada. After years of eating the raw carrot every day, even Ray thought he had developed some resistance to its effectiveness, but I forgot where I heard this. Prob good to switch it up.
Chicken: I think it is quite difficult to find chickens raised well and not fed corn or soy. For this reason, I avoid eating chicken meat and opt for ruminant animals such as beef as you mentioned (brisket, oxtail, lamb shank). It takes a while to cook these tougher cuts, but you can certainly speed up the process significantly with an instant pot.
