@tubert I currently take one and a half tablets of cynoplus (t3/t4) after a meal which equals to 3.3 grains, and I take small bites of a cynomel (t3) tablet (4-9 mcg) after a meal or if my hands or feet are not warm.

RE: what is the cure to hairloss / male pattern baldness?
@tubert I just felt sedated most of the time, which I think is a good thing because it means that the stress hormones that I was running on were being suppressed by the cypro. I continued to take a lot of cypro after the three days, even up to 32 mg. I ran out of cypro after like a week. I just ordered more.
I think the cypro just works as a vacuum, and you need to supplement other things like thyroid or progesterone to take the place of the stress hormones that you've been running on. Also eating liver and oysters once a week, and upping your calcium to lower parathyroid hormone.
Benefits are better digestion. Con is sometimes I would get a mild migraine, but really there is none.
For the hair, I been on thyroid for about 2 months now, gradually increasing my dose to 3 grains. My hair is indeed coming back, but slowly. I might up it to 4 grains next week. I dont plan on taking thyroid forever tho, tapering off of it. I take the synthetic thyroid ray peat recommends from mexico.

RE: Concentric only exercises
@tea The recumbent bike is less stressful on your joints and you can rest your back on the seat. Cardio sessions aren't meant to be as stressful. Cardio that can be done while having a conversation is the goal. You can increase the level to reach horse cocking power, but I usually leave it at level 4.

RE: Concentric only exercises
@raypneat Very cool. The recumbent bike at planet fitness used as steady state cardio limited to 45 minutes a session will pump you with billions of new mitochondria. Combined with progressive overloading, I think it might be the most peatiest exercise machine.

RE: Every way I know to grow taller and increase bone mineral density with explanations
roiding and vegetarian peating
9:1 cortinon:androsterone ratio (estrogen destroys ur bones so you wanna keep that down by 2 drops of androsterone daily, cortinon to buffer the andro and other synergies). lol
lots of dairy, fruit, sugar, oj, low fat milk for more calcium less estrogen/fat, sunlight - to improve mitochondrial health
too much meat will emphasize muscles rather than bone (theory on why i chose vegetarian)
all of this prob won't work if you have low thyroid tho.
the roiding part is prolly if your 25+ and desperate. If you're younger, peating will prolly help u grow regardless.

RE: Getting rid of gyno
Low-fat milk + raising your metabolic rate could help with gyno.
A non-peaty way of getting rid of gyno would probably to do cardio everyday increasing the metabolic rate through stress hormones, albeit temporarily.

RE: Easiest things to do as new peater
@solbrahfan1488 Milk and Cheese to fix Calcium:phosphorus ratio

RE: what is the cure to hairloss / male pattern baldness?
@izkrov I have a theory that you can cure your hair loss by "converting" your DHT back into a healthy state instead of nuking them entirely from your system as finasteride does, causing disastrous effects.
Balding is attributed as androgenic alopecia, but if you look at it systemically, estrogenic alopecia is a more accurate diagnosis. If you read Ray Peat's articles, he says that estrogen is the hormone of aging and disease, and balding seems to be a symptom of premature aging in young men.
If you want to cure balding through a systematic approach, you basically have to start peating and cleansing yourself of an estrogenic lifestyle.
Maybe taking progesterone, taking up bodybuilding (without overtraining), and eating peaty foods; you could start noticing an affect on your hair growth in 2-3 weeks.

RE: Peat diet and the risk of Vitamin A toxicity, fatty liver
@GreekDemiGod Vitamin A is not toxic. In fact it could lower and probably has the same antagonistic effect to serotonin as vitamin E does to estrogen.

RE: what is the cure to hairloss / male pattern baldness?
@Chud Cyproheptadine can cure hair loss alone, induced from brain atrophy. It lowers serotonin and prolactin.
Currently experimenting with 16 mg for 3 days.
If you have hair loss from low libido, probably supplementing thyroid and eating 4oz of beef liver once a week will help tremendously.

RE: Heightmaxxing
Thyroid supplementation + Vitamin K2 + Magnesium Carbonate = Height growth
