Anyone know the peaty treatment for this / where it comes from? I’ve heard it’s too much acidity in the diet (been drinking oj each morning so that could be it). A friend recommended drinking baking soda water before bed to introduce more alkalinity into my bloodstream but not sure that works

The starch question
Been seeing a lot of starch slander on Peat twitter lately. Do you consume starch, or not? I want to lose like 15 pounds and I’m considering seriously cutting back on starch and upping fruit intake to see if that does the trick. But I’ve seen other stories of people only consuming starch with very little fat and getting good results. Not sure if anyone is dealing with something similar but I wanted to open up the discussion

Want to try Progesterone and Thyroid- recommended products?
I see a lot of people posting their positive experiences with progesterone and taking thyroid supplements. I’d like to give it a try. What are the top trustworthy products you guys would recommend? And what are your main takeaways from both products?

I suspect my gf is hyperthyroid, any advice / tips?
My girlfriend has been losing weight despite a healthy full diet. She's very active but deals with a lot of anxiety and restlessness which leads me to suspect she's hyperthyroid. She was taking spironalactone for her skin for a couple years, which many know by now is seriously detrimental to hormone balance. Thankfully she got off it recently but still suffers from anxiety and unintended weight loss.
Does anyone have any tips, food and / or supplement recommendations for this issue? The only catch here is that she can't consume dairy without it messing with her stomach - hard cheeses like parmesan is all she can handle.
Thank you all and have a nice weekend

Dry hands?
Any reason as to why my hands been so dry lately? I drink milk, oj, eat cheese, carrots, meat and starches regularly. Cook with tallow and coconut oil. Take vitamin B12, D, E, K. I wash my hands and they take a long time to regenerate oils, feels raw to touch
