White tongue

@thebodyelectric_ I think we both probably have Toxin A deficiency

Now now, calm down. -
I have been looking for a solution as well. I made great strives by using some tools like carrot, button mushrooms, aspirin, doxy and penicillin-vk, avoiding starch. I made a big mistake by consuming a huge amount of white rice for a few days and it seems the intestinal bacteria has made a huge comeback.
I had stress/bruxism problems that disappeared a few months ago and they seem to have come back after the giga-starch consumption. I went for max dose cypro to curb the cortisol loop. Eating lots of mushrooms as well. But I think it might be useful to have a different approach.

vIt might be useful to go the herbal route for a bit, it has shown to be more effective than some antibiotic treatments. This is one aspect I am considering, just need to source which herb(s) to use and in what formulation/protocol.

I've tried the carrot salad, well cooked white button mushrooms and activated charcoal, but the white tongue persists. Only thing I haven't tried is low dose antibiotics but it seems excessive to try that just to get rid of the white tongue. Any thoughts?

@PrinceMyshkin I have the same thing, started to happen about 7 years ago. I did notice increasing sensitivities to deodorants a little bit before the white tongue started to appear. Maybe 2 years after the white tongue I started to notice indentations around the tongue (scalloped tongue). Also, I tended to breath out of my mouth when sleeping and noticed my mouth became very dry and couldn't do that any longer.
I'm not sure what causes the white tongue, but might be related to mouth dryness.

I've seb derm on my scalp and a white tongue. It seems to get worse when sleep is off. The remedies I've come across recently are: chewing clove, tongue scraping, MCT/coconut oil pulling/eating, anti candida supplements with loads of herbs like oregano etc, proper hygiene in general and avoiding starches. I notice some improvement with MCT oil, but will report back when I've tried it for a longer period of time.

@CO3 i get this every morning, can scrape it off and tongue is red in day but it returns overnight. i think its sibo, esp i get herxheimer like reactions when i take antimicrobial stuff like coconut oil. do you have tips how to smartly tackle this? im trying to figure out how to get sterile small intestine while preserving large intestine bacteria; large intestine bacteria i think is very important, losing it could cause lactose, carb intolerance/malabsorption, ibd. @S-Holmes think i remember u made some info similar to this once

@the-MOUSE I'm doing Nathan Hatch's therapies ("F*** Portion Control"). Every health issue is resolved by restoring metabolism. I don't know of another solution. I can go into more detail if anyone is interested but there's a lot to it. (Or visit the Biohacking with Nathan Hatch thread.)

I've never tried it, but some copper dissolved in camphoric acid could be useful. Ray tried it and it seems like it worked.

I've had a white coating on my tongue for years, I can't remember when it started, but I have had some pretty bad food poisoning in foreign countries a few different times. Regardless, I don't have any of the digestion issues often associated with bacterial overgrowth or endotoxin - I'm generally healthy by any measure, no major issues, good daily BM's, good energy, strong temp and pulse, etc. My question is whether I should be worried about the white tongue if I don't have any other worrisome symptoms? I've tried the carrot salad, well cooked white button mushrooms and activated charcoal, but the white tongue persists. Only thing I haven't tried is low dose antibiotics but it seems excessive to try that just to get rid of the white tongue. Any thoughts?
