    @rayjeet i'm new to this. why would lower fat be good for staying lean? i thought higher fat intake was important for hormones which correlate with low bodyfat (androgens etc)

      @hypercashoidism
      low fat, high carb (preferably from sugars, not starches) = high metabolism = weight loss

      I think it is a bit contextual, if you are already overweight then you absolutely need a high carb diet to offset the large amounts of free fatty acids in your blood. If you are already lean then moderate fat might be beneficial.

        @pittybitty ah good to know. would 100g of fat be a lot for someone who's 78kg?

          @hypercashoidism Generally speaking yes. I'm on a cut right now and eat less than 30g a day (6' 2" 100kg). If you overeat fat, even the healthy saturated fats, you will get fat.

            @milkgains_bro How do you make weight lifting peaty though? Strenuous exercise is not peaty. I understand a lot of Peater's lift weights is there a certain strategy or technique people use?

                @Kilgore between 1.5-2 lb. I've plateaued a bit recently, been partying a bit too hard on the weekends. Gonna blast some DNP for 2-3 weeks.

                  @lanadelesoteric Peat said weight lifting is fine. He suggested nothing too strenuous nor lifting in a set for more than 30 seconds

                        @onliest Wouldn't 30g be too little tough? Especially for a big guy like you.

                          Everyone should drink LooksMaxx Tea: Just dandelion tea with some beef gelatin, I add honey and coconut oil to it as well.
                          The tea helps getting rid of excess OLD water retained in your body. Basically stimulate the kidneys to flush out excess water.

                            @Kilgore I was eating around 15g daily for a month but every week or so I would get insatiable cravings for a gigantic juicy burger or some birria tacos, which I would subsequently purchase and demolish.

                            Been at 30g for two weeks and am feeling good. When I want to maintain or increase my weight I'd go much higher. You're right though; cholesterol is important.

                                @lanadelesoteric Dont train to much. The healthier you are the harder you can train and it being beneficial. I can 100% feel when its enough. Focus on fast twitch concentric exercise movements to stimulate a more powerful mitochondria and to get less inflammatory response. Try to not get out of breath. If you do it right then its healthy. Having muscle is highly beneficial for storing carbs unlocking higher potential healthy metabolism. Focus abit more on antiinflammatory pro CO2 supplements. People always mention how blocking prostaglandin or inflammation lowers muscle growth. But the thing is, If you want attractive really hard and dense muscles you would actually want to lower those. You want to grow healthy differentiated well structured muscle not become a ballooonish swollen but weak and undefined looking guy. Essentially do you really want the deca looking muscles? I know I dont. I want blocks of slabs on me
