New "Mission" of RPF

@oniyogini I just thought it was funny. RPF's loss is our gain. Especially when we get the comedians. Keeps things lively.
-
it was only a matter of time before that board turned out this way.
the natural lifecycle that most boards go through is, early on you have quality posters providing useful and uncommon insights, they eventually fade away and in their place you have fellas who only provide surface level commentary on any subject.
now combine this with the fact the average user on such a board just wants to be told what to eat what supplements to take etc, no care whatsoever for taking a holistic view of their problems of which rays ideas are second to none (and pretty adaptable as well), well its hardly a surprise it turned out this way.
that being said, im still surprised these fellas got swindled by a bald chiropractor whose contention is people are unwell due to too may carrots and liver, thatäs a head-scratcher to me. i look forward to seeing what gimmick diet they will fall for in a year from now.

He…
Stay?Honestly
Needs to tell them to fuck off. He's waiting to offer charlie a buyout. As a member, he may be in Charlie's good graces to be considered when he decides the site has more value with charlie out of the picture. Haidut right now is a critical collaborator. He may do more good being a member not just for himself. Protecting his investment in the posts of studies and commentaries he has made over the years if he leaves or is banned leaves all that in the hands of charlie.
Before I got booted out, I made an offer for the site for 20¢ on the dollar for the site in jest in a post. But that was incidental as I had a fallout with charlie. I got to learn of his arrogance and left based on that alone. Little did I know he was to follow up his arrogance with action consistent with his true nature.
And so here we are as refugees welcomed into a new home. Thanks @brad
Brad I'm trustful that your nature is different from that of charlie and I look forward to be under your tent. I find being a good moderator requires a lot of good judgment and wisdom. I once left a Telegram chat group because a lot of disrespectful modern women (coarse and loud and gratuitously disrespectful to me). A weak male member was supporting them and telling me to mind my manners instead, and the active moderator wasn't doing anything about it. I wasn't banned but I gave time for the moderator/s to act before I left in disgust. You've seen me here having disagreements and I can carry my own when I am disrespected and I fight back especially when slighted upon. I welcome being told when I'm wrong but when there is a gray area I will use reason to defend myself. When defense is useless, I won't hesitate to kick it up a notch on offense. That is how I felt is only right. Words can hurt. And I try my best to use such words sparingly. I don't like bullies but I can bully a bully into submission if that is what it takes.
Anyway, after I left the forum, another moderator, who was the charlie to blossom in RPF, contacted me and invited me back after he removed those members and the other moderator, but I had moved on and being invited back in I felt would bloat my ego and I would not be back as just another member. I thanked him and said I would appreciate if he could leave the door open until such time that the dust has settled.
I don't take being a member here lightly, and I appreciate the welcome door here you have set for all. Your guiding hand speaks in the way you have designed the site, and in how your benign presence is expressed in your seeming absence. I am hopeful you will get more members to come that will contribute to the site in a positive manner. And that will keep building on energetics consistent with Ray Peat's ideas and the pioneers whose minds, writings and ideas he had used to synthesize a healthy framework that is coherent.
May we all live long and prosper!

@questforhealth My bullshitometer is telling me he's trolling reading this, especially with claiming its somehow started by the sun doing a mass ejection. (?)
Also, who around him is he seeing this happen in? It just smells like such bullshit. Maybe he really is playing a part.
Then again, maybe he is just that delusional. -
This post is deleted! -
@yerrag Thanks for your thoughtful comments and kind feedback. I really do hope to keep a light touch on moderation here, so "seeming absence" is a perfectly fine way to put it. Off-topic or degenerating threads (or posts) will be sent to The Junkyard. Threats of violence or calls for violence are not allowed. I hope not to have to interfere on much else. My hope is that people with engage one another with civility, respect, and in a spirit of collaboration or friendly opposition.

How long until this obnoxious dickhead declares himself the messiah? Will we find out this was all triggered by a recent free trip to pissrael, perhaps? Just a domestic meltdown/midlife crises?
Amazing stuff.

i am personally waiting for that smith fella to start claiming he can now cure cancer with low vitamin a. he already claimed the diet was responsible for a woman giving a miraculous birth or something.
any day now....
-
@brad Yessiree!!!

@risingfire not gonna lie either. I hate to disappoint but all there is - pipsqueak

Testing... 1... 2... 3
Edit: Oh hi @yerrag !
-
@Jam Nice to see you here, have you also given up on that other forum?
Still taking the Potassium Iodide???? -
@Jam I knew you would pop up one of these days. Welcome!

Hi, according to Charlie, it's no longer allowed on the "Ray Peat" forum to share "pro vitamin A studies."
To then say it's an essential nutrient
This is not the official stance of the forum, it is Charlie's personal belief, 99.99% of the people on the forum do not share this idea, neither does Ray Peat,
Charlie you can and should remove the name "Ray Peat" from the name of the site, because it is not allowed to share studies that correspond to Ray's ideas, in this case it is only allowed to share studies if they correspond and are not in contradiction with your personal beliefs

It's becoming beyond obvious that Charlie and InChristAlone are the same person. Every time Charlie posts so does ICA
I don't think so. She has been on the forum a long time (as sugarbabe, and before as Janelle) and the deterioration can be clearly observed if you read her posts over the years. I don't even think she's Charlie's real life associate or one of his wives. She just has really strong parasocial relationship to him and the forum, and clearly has suffered a lot of life stresses of the kind that cannot be mitigated by any diet, supplement or pharmaceutical. I feel bad for her.

Alright everyone, some wag beat me to my RPF username. I am in the A-curious camp but it's unequivocally not up for discussion...so there we go.

Make no mistake Charlie is heading in the direction of banning everyone who even suggests that Vitamin A is not a toxin.
Well called. Just 12 hours later it happened.

@TheSir Hi, he potentially wants to do the same thing about vitamin D supplementation, potentially he doesn't only because he's afraid of the potential consequences if he bans Georgi "haidut"
