is that the name RAY PEAT be removed in association with the old forum. It is absolutely and utterly wrong that his namesake IS the forum. Ridiculous at this point.
I feel the same way. It's a constant, disgusting slur against an honorable person. Charlie will never change it willingly because he knows it upsets some people and it's a way of having power over them.

"When copper moves out of my brain it literally feels like my brain is morphing and twisting. I could see it freaking someone out if they did not understand what was going on."
"So I have postulated that aspirin does speed up detox because from my observations dermatitis is vitmain A toxicity oozing out through the skin."
"Before I started dextrose I would notice my eyes leaking anytime I pushed detox really hard. I think the eye is basically detoxing and healing."
Guy's all over the place. He'll come around.

The whole 'anything negative I feel is detox' ideation is nothing short of willful ingnorance. Application of even non-negative but unexpected effects to 'detox' just raises that bar of fallaciousness to a clown world level

I was on Twitter and the peat-sphere there when I found out about this forum and about what was in happening with the RPF. I saw screenshots and comments about it then, but I avoided visiting RPF since I heard the news... until today...
Honestly, I don't know what to say... It's clear to me that Charlie has suffered some kind of psychotic break, and I'm not just saying that. Everything there is super deranged even details about what Ray Peat said or didn't say... Even them using the phrase "ray peat diet" unironically (since it's used ironically on Twitter peat-sphere). Plus, every other account feels like a charlie-alt. I literally had that thought, before I read someone commenting that same thing in a thread (shout out to user "mephisto").
Also, it's just weird to see some cultish form of Christianity paired with "vitamin A toxicity" and other topics discussed as the God-given solution to modernity lol. It's not self-aware at all and is just disturbing. Also, the essence of Peat has always been "perceive, think, act", so I don't understand why people (Charlie's alts) there have to slam his dietary suggestions to promote these other diets.
Anyway, I feel like I just took a trip to a local asylum of the early 20th. It sucks that the name is still after "Ray Peat" though because I associate peating with being flexible and strategic in thought and action with regards to food as the Twitter peat-sphere displays alongside this forum.

The stupidity is that they would have to concede that their "god" made a mistake by putting Vitamin A in foods we should be eating.
-
@bio3nergetic EXACTLY. This is what I don't understand about these people.
Either your world view is the big bang and evolution, and everything was accidental, in which case it would make sense that there are loads of bad things for us even in food we can eat...
Or you believe there's a creator, a God, and that there needs to be a paradigm shift to the natural order of things, away from the manmade, artificial, chemical lifestyle, to what God intended.
It's crazy to me how these people, many who are so-called Christians, their worldview is completely programmed in them by atheistic science dogma worshippers, and from that worldview everything is evil and out to get us. I mean, seriously, believing milk that animals and humans were made to feed their babies is bad? That's so retarded I almost can't believe it's a real belief.
-
I think they are trying to invoke the 'simple honest clean lifestyle' with the most bland foods imaginable because bland = holy and spice or extravagance is akin to hedonism and therefore sin.
This idea fits into their heavily restrictive and monk like diets.Similar to how carnivore is paired with conservatism and veganism is paired with leftism so too is the Low A movement tending towards christianity.
All of these ideas tend to be paired with other ideas and other ideas and even more ideas. Like music for example or art or fashion. It seems to be the natural inclination for ideas to group but it's up to the individual to be able to sift through these ideas and not get caught up in ideology and if they do then they'd better have a strong grasp and comprehensive reason for such ideology.

Found this:
The Gentleperson's Guide To Forum Spies
*Technique #6 - 'GAINING FULL CONTROL'
It is important to also be harvesting and continually maneuvering for a forum moderator position. Once this position is obtained, the forum can then be effectively and quietly controlled by deleting unfavourable postings - and one can eventually steer the forum into complete failure and lack of interest by the general public. This is the 'ultimate victory' as the forum is no longer participated with by the general public and no longer useful in maintaining their freedoms. Depending on the level of control you can obtain, you can deliberately steer a forum into defeat by censoring postings, deleting memberships, flooding, and or accidentally taking the forum offline. By this method the forum can be quickly killed. However it is not always in the interest to kill a forum as it can be converted into a 'honey pot' gathering center to collect and misdirect newcomers and from this point be completely used for your control for your agenda purposes.*
Found that link posted in a discussion thread of a now defunct forum. That forum actually saw a lot of action in it's one year of existence.
