@SpicyPeater It’s fine lol, I think Peat said 1mg K2 per 325mg aspirin is a good amount, also glycine from gelatin powder/ gelatinous bone broth is good when taking aspirin. If you’re doing both of those aspirin is extremely safe. Even if you aren’t, aspirin is still very safe to take

RE: Idealabs Energin
Does anyone know which ingredient in the current formulation explains the garlicy taste that’s so different from Energin’s previous formulation?
From https://raypeatforum.com/community/threads/energin-liquid-b-complex-vitamin-mix.3859/
'As such, the presence of porsultiamine in Energin should increase the effects associated with usage of vitamin B1. Both prosultiamine and allithiamine are naturally occurring analogs of vitamin B1, and present in high concentrations in garlic and are probably responsible for the unique smell of garlic, with Energin now smelling somewhat similar to garlic as well.' -
RE: Frequency of the micro-nutrient dense foods (Liver, Oysters)
@CO3 I just eat oysters when I crave them, which is usually about once a week and they always taste good, but if i just force myself to eat them when my body doesn’t want them they taste disgusting and i can barely swallow them without throwing up

RE: Is dried/dehydrated fruit peaty?
Fresh ripe fruit is always better, but there’s nothing wrong with having some dried fruit. I like dried mango, very yummy.

RE: How to apply supplements
I would recommend you take most supplements orally as long as there are no bad additives. However some idealabs products with ethanol as the solvent are designed to be taken topically since they have higher absorption.

RE: What do you believe causes schizophrenia/psychosis?
Probably worth noting as well that marijuana has very high levels of heavy metals, absorbs a lot of lead and cadmium from the soil it’s grown in, a high concentration of lead in the bloodstream is found significantly associated with an elevated risk of schizophrenia.

RE: How do you make eggs taste good?
An omelette with some cheese and mushrooms tastes pretty good, I usually just use salt and pepper.

RE: What do you believe causes schizophrenia/psychosis?
@zipris THC directly increases serotonin btw, inhibits serotonin reuptake just like SSRIs
-
RE: What do you believe causes schizophrenia/psychosis?
Schizophrenia is caused by serotonin, Haidut has written multiple articles on this. If someone was eating a shitty diet while smoking marijuana everyday, they would 100% have high serotonin levels, which in turn can lead to schizophenia.

RE: How to reverse suppressed appetite as a result of prolonged ADHD medication?
@Peater0921 You build up a tolerance to it, so I think you should take 1mg before bed for the first couple days until you stop feeling tired, then start taking 2mg a day and so on. I think for long term usage 2-4mg a day would be good, you could probably go up at 8mg a day and be fine but you just have to experiment. I also think after 8 weeks you should take a tolerance break for 1-2 weeks just so it doesn’t lose effectiveness.

RE: "Fat Free" Short grain rice and skimmed milk diet highly effective for fat loss
@GuantanamO-Shea Even if you are supplementing the fat solubles, how would you absorb them if you have no fat in your diet?

RE: How to reverse suppressed appetite as a result of prolonged ADHD medication?
Try Cyproheptadine, it is a well known appetite stimulant and is prescribed to promote weight gain in children and adults with poor appetite. Most people who've tried it here say that it definitely makes them more hungry. Here's a study showing it's effectiveness: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34509304/
I would recommend you start with around 1mg before bed. it's going to make you very tired the first few days of taking it. -
RE: How to quit nicotine
@noodlecat59 Thanks, niacinamide seems interesting, pretty cheap so i'll consider trying that.
I am aware nicotine gums and other products can be beneficial for quitting cigarettes or vapes but im looking to completely quit all nicotine products at the moment. -
RE: How to quit nicotine
@dt Thank you, interesting article. I took 3mg of cypro at lunch today instead of my usual 1mg before bed which i've been taking for a couple days, and it did seem to help with cravings.
