@wester130 It's supposed to be base powder. I don't experience any brain fog even in high doses. I actually don't experience anything noticeable.

RE: Experiments with transdermal hormones
@wester130 Interesting. Mine tastes incredibly bitter, similar to extra-virgin olive oil.

RE: Why are women today, the non fat ones, better looking than women back then?
I do think that nutrition is better today than in old days in the sense that people aren't famished. Maybe the food quality isn't so great but perhaps the human body is better at handling imperfect foods vs. entire food groups or nutrients missing.
We have much better hygiene and medicine today, and that's going to go a long way. Looking at the photo, all three have clean hair and skin and the two clearly have very nice teeth. Go back a hundred years ago and nice teeth might not be so common. How frequently did people bathe 200 years ago?
I wonder if the question posed in the OP could likewise be made for guys today?

RE: Why are women today, the non fat ones, better looking than women back then?
They don't seem very feminized in terms of patterns of thinking. So maybe the estrogenic environment is only affecting their physical appearance?
The second issue is that all the girls in this age group you're talking about are on birth control, so who knows what their hormonal situation is.
My instinctual response is that attractive people are breeding together and making more attractive people and it's attracting attention from people who are attracted to attractiveness. Otherwise, for every attractive girl, you can find a ton that aren't so attractive that are probably overflowing with estrogens. But most girls that aren't old or fat are breedable.
And I think we just don't have too many examples from eras gone by because there wasn't TikTok and make-up and immodesty in dress and young girls were quite sheltered. Attractive young girls would especially be hidden from public exposure just out of basic modesty.
Overall though I'm not a big believer in the estrogenic environment theory. If anything, xenoestrogens act in an anti-estrogen manner because they block the receptor with very weak estrogens.

RE: A super interesting case of high testosterone levels.
@Sugar I figured a lack of DHT could explain StyroPyro's higher pitched voice. I wish he gave some info on DHT blood levels but I bet those doctors weren't smart enough to check. But even if he had decent DHT, it could be bound up by his very high SHBG. Now you get into a tricky case of what tissues can use SHBG-bound hormone and which ones can't? And which tissues create DHT locally w/ 5AR and which ones depend on systemic hormone delivered by the blood? Etc... He has good masculine facial structure, but so do I and I also have high T and low free DHT (due to high SHBG). But he also has a good frame.
As for FTM... Some of the women bodybuilders / strength athletes who take all that gear have a comparable amount of size and strength (for their frame) to men, but for sure FTM aren't going for that look, so they're in a weird spot like you say. And those women bodybuilders don't have masculine faces or frames. If FTM got on those bodybuilder protocols at the age of like, 8, then maybe they could pass for a man. This is all disgusting btw.

RE: Anti-Catabolic Steroids with a special property
Is there a reason why it has to be a 5A-reduced steroid? I can't think of anything 5AR that is more anabolic than other substances like tren or testosterone. DHT derivatives like anavar can be anabolic but they have weak anabolic action.

RE: What is the most effective protocol for young men to looksmax?
At that age I think the only "hard" looksmax one could get away with is maybe DHT for facial structure. I think my face changed a decent amount in that age bracket. One could perhaps get a little bit more clavicle width and other frame gains. The downside is that one has to be careful with hair and crashing estradiol.
Otherwise I think people are stuck with the more ordinary things: lifting weights, taking care of one's face and skin and hair, etc. Some of this stuff is not very Peaty because the community is very anti-estrogen and in some sense anti-exercise because of cortisol. I think for the skin Vitamins A and B5 would be more Peaty than, say, tret.
Looksmaxing requires a balance between masculine and feminine features so that's also going to be counter to the Peat community.
Your pfp looks like somebody from the looksmax forum.

RE: Experiments with transdermal hormones
@wester130 I would like to do some experiments with Vitamin E oil also. My big issue is that to get a decent bolus of T / DHT I think you would need a lot of Vitamin E which I don't want to do. Especially if it needs to be dissolved.
Also, I am a little weird in the sense that I would really like to have T / DHT return to baseline by bedtime to see if it prevents shutdown. So the shorter half-life of non-esterified T is a bonus for me. Most people aren't concerned about this but it would be a nice-to-have for me. I don't need to have blasted hormones 24/7.

RE: Experiments with transdermal hormones
@wester130 What is the point of T undecanote instead of just raw T spread throughout the day? Not sure how long the undecanote sticks around, in terms of half-life. I do think it'd be good to find an ingestible solvent for the oral route but not sure how much everclear you could consume without getting in trouble. T in oil will definitely have better bioavailability but not sure if you can use an alcohol solvent then wrap it in oil to make it even better. The raw powder sublingually is hard to hold in my experience; not sure how much can be dissolved by saliva anyway.
I keep reading in scientific places (Sigma-Aldrich, etc.) that T is soluble in vegetable oil but so far I haven't seen it in my experiments. Maybe a little bit but definitely not 100%. And I have read elsewhere that T is not oil soluble at all.
I finally got around to trying about 50-75mg DHT in DMSO and felt absolutely nothing. It's possible that I have retarded androgen receptors. Which would explain a lot of things.

RE: Methylated Androsterone?
I'm skeptical of the idea that methylated steroids only damage the liver if they can be aromatized. I don't think superdrol or epistane are aromatizable, for instance. I think breaking the methyl off is what damages the liver.
You can just get DHT powder and microdose it orally a few times a day. It should stay in the system for a few hours each dose. Or take Haidut's androsterone a few times a day.
I generally think that people in the health space way overestimate and overvalue DHT as a hormone. It's important to have in optimal amounts for sure, but high DHT... I just can't wrap my head around what the value is.

RE: What do you think about the raw milk only crowd on social media?
I'm one of those weird people where boring dairy never gave me any issues so I never saw the purpose (for me) to go with raw milk, etc. I guess I would say that about all animal products. I never saw any upside to doing a raw diet in my circumstance.

RE: A super interesting case of high testosterone levels.
I watched this awhile ago and if I remember the only thing that they found off is that his hCG was high which could indicate a real health problem. And his SHBG was high but that could just be genetic rather than a liver issue.
I agree that overall he looks like a bastion of health and all those weird experts and doctors who think high testosterone is bad for you would take a beating from this example.

RE: Experiments with transdermal hormones
What formula is everyone using for DHT in DMSO?
I tried 50mg in 2ml DMSO and although it dissolved immediately, when I came back an hour later it had crystals.

I order from PPL every 3 months since 2019 and send a sample everytime to Jano.
Everything comes back at 98% purity. What I have very well could be pure. Maybe I just have very thick skin or something and it's hard to penetrate the hormone.
I will try my DHT with DMSO tomorrow and see if I notice anything with that.
Even if I don't "feel" anything, I will do blood testing since that is very easy and cheap for me.

RE: Experiments with transdermal hormones
@Santosh said in Experiments with transdermal hormones:
Slightly different characteristics ?
Based on what ? What you've read on forums ?These are two completely different hormones with completely different feelings, not "slightly".
I really wonder if you are for real sometimes
"Slightly different characteristics" in that the DHT that PPL sent me is a lot more fine; it's almost like powdered sugar. The T base they sent me is definitely a larger particle size, not quite the size of granulated sugar but definitely not as fine as the DHT. If I touch the DHT powder it's fine enough to get into my fingerprint grooves, and needs to be rinsed off; whereas the T base is not and can simply be brushed off. So they definitely sent me two different substances. I can tell my looking at them and feeling them that they are not the same.
And there are plenty of people out there that have claimed to get bunk from PPL. And why wouldn't PPL send out a certain percentage of their shipments as bunk? Customers have no recourse. It's not like they can call the police about it. And anybody who complains about it on a forum is accused of posting a "fake review". PPL simply says that everybody is lying, which is very convenient.

Maybe drop the B and K2 for a couple of weeks just to see if anything changes.

@Crypt-Keeper I've ordered dht base from QSC and had it tested at Janoshik, came back with 98%+ purity. Imo they are legit and they have better prices that PPL anyways.
Thank you. Have you tried DHT in DMSO? Do you feel anything? I also have some DHT from PPL (same shipment) which has slightly different characteristics to the T base so I might try it in DMSO to see if at least that is legit.

Qingdao Sigma Chemical Co seems to get good reviews on other forums. I’m going to try an order of base with them soon. Same formula with DMSO. First time I’ve used any exogenous test. We’ll see how it goes.
Let us know your experience. I'm getting cold feet on the legal aspect of some of this stuff (paranoia) but would love to continue experimenting nevertheless since I find all of this so interesting.

@Santosh said in Experiments with transdermal hormones:
Your powder is bunk, indeed.
I guess I will send it off to Janoshik since it's probably important to know what I'm taking into my body with DMSO.
I found it strange that PPL had a message on their website saying not to test with Janoshik and anyone who posted results from them on a forum would be banned from buying again.
Guess I'll look elsewhere for raws.
