But that would let you change your mind.

This narrative is very useful for framing support for widespread euthanasia as loving and compassionate.
In the bigger picture I am very certain that we are not amidst any eugenics programme.
Yes of course. It's a euthanasia program. Easy terms to mix up.

Rebranded eugenics
At least the UK bothers rebranding it. Some countries don't sugar coat the concept.

Not sure if anyone here gives a shit
It's an important subject. It's clear where society is heading.
@the_black_jew said in RFK jr explains that heroin effectively treated his adhd. He would still be taking heroin if it still worked (video interview from Nov 14, 2023):
cypro or aspirin with hot coffee after a break of not using them or under the right circumstances is just like taking heroin, and aspirin even smells the same. cypro gives the sense of relief from stress and the visualization waking dreams. as well, nodding on the couch under warm lights after binging on a good meal is literally the same feeling as after taking heroin. not exagerating. heroin just has a mystique because of (((media))) and (((pop culture)). that’s my opinion.
as for being useful for ADHD, anything that would calm down neuroticism and anxiety would work, wouldn’t it?
It is a fact that most people only know it through reputation. It never crossed my mind that it could be a lot of mythology.
I spent some time thinking about that last part. Even though I agree that it could help some things, I can't comprehend how he managed to integrate it into his daily life and make it work. Is he injecting himself while pulling all nighters for legal exams? Can you just stir a little into your coffee? I'll admit I know nothing about heroin.
He's a lot fun. Hopefully he stays around.
@DavidPS Well it looks like he found a cure with incredible side effects. Win win till down the road.
In this interview he seems to be saying heroin helped manage his adhd Nov 14, 2023:

I updated the post. He was taking various things. I don't think heroin would work well for treating adhd on it's own. Don't bother

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. once claimed that using narcotics made him do better in school.
In the midst of his presidential campaign, the independent candidate discussed his history of drug use and addiction during a July appearance on the “Shawn Ryan Show” podcast.
Kennedy recalled having his first encounters with drugs the summer after his father, Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, was assassinated during his Democratic campaign for president in 1968.
After quickly progressing from recreational LSD to regular use of cocaine and heroin, Donald Trump’s choice to lead the Department of Health and Human Services said, he found that being under the influence actually improved his studies.
“I did very, very poorly in school until I started doing narcotics,” he said on the podcast. “Then I went to the top of my class because my mind was so restless and turbulent and I could not sit still.”
Noting he’d likely be diagnosed with ADHD these days, Kennedy said he looks back at his drug use as a form of self-medicating.
“Suddenly I could sit still, and I could read and I could concentrate,” he told Ryan. “I could listen to what people were saying, and things made sense to me.”

I have not.
