Messing with the most important biological cyclical mechanisms does that. All my gooner bros can relate!

RE: Eggshell calcium
I boil for half an hour, then lay them out overnight on a tray, then bake tray at 90 C for 30 minutes.
I use a nutribullet pro blender. It turns it into fairly fine white powder.
I don't remove the membrane because most of my eggshells have been out for a while and the membrane dries stuck. I do recommend rinsing inside of eggshell after cracking so you get a cleaner powder later. -
RE: Homemade red light array
@questforhealth haha I have a little "cigar burn" on my bicep. Treated with methylene blue
It helps to be careful around 200 degree celsius glass, especially if droplets of water can cause them to explode. -
RE: Modified Qigong Breathing Exercise for Reducing the Sense of Hunger on an Empty Stomach
@DavidPS You're right in that they're not exclusive, I was just taking the piss (on brand).
I think any breathwork controlling (especially slowing) rate of breathing counts as meditation. This breathing exercise seems like a bit of postural control + breathing.
The action of focusing on a single thing is inherently meditative. -
RE: Homemade red light array
@questforhealth I noticed the red colour slowly peels off the lamps lol, it must be burning off.

RE: Modified Qigong Breathing Exercise for Reducing the Sense of Hunger on an Empty Stomach
So instead of changing the diet of obese people they should just do qigong.
I think guided, controlled breathing exercises have a lot to do with blood CO2
Tidal CO2 is the amount of CO2 exhaled in one breath. I'm guessing that if the amount of CO2 exhaled is less than it was before more CO2 must be absorbed. But to be honest I have no clue. I've also heard that meditation is rather antimetabolic and so it'd make sense for it to calm a hungry person. Maybe its antimetabolic because it supresses hunger. Or Qi is antimetabolic.

RE: Homemade red light array
@Peatriot I was using soviet era plastic ceiling lamp and IKEA 40W bedside table lamp but I have acquired ceramic lamp sockets.
99% sure the smell is from the bulbs.

RE: Help with EU Sources
Ordering to Estonia, the DHEA in pansterone is an illegal AAS and you will likely get cucked by the customs. Thyroid does somehow come through.
The lines are muddled when it's sent to you from an individuals name (as in Katherine) and not a company. An individual can send drugs to another individual in reasonable quantities as far as I know.

RE: Baking Soda; All the Great Use Cases
@CO3 The extremely cheap stuff I got wholesale tastes like piss and is generally uncomfortable to use. I've tried arm and hammer and it's extremely smooth.
I like dropping a tablespoon in my mouth and swishing a bit of coke with it before swallowing. -
Homemade red light array
Recently 250W chicken bulbs went on sale next to my home. I now have 6 bulbs!
6 is probably more than enough for a full body panel but I'll use the excess to light my home.I have also noticed an odd smell eminating from the rooms I use them in. It's a metallic, toxic smelling odour.
I keep windows open just in case but does anyone know where this would come from? -
RE: Baking Soda; All the Great Use Cases
Great as pre-workout, pre-sleep, all sorts of pre-stress cases.
CO2 and sodium I find make my muscles work better.
I have had times when I took too much before sleep and wake up in the middle of the night feeling like I just swallowed sand. -
RE: How to cope with not having optimal development
@JulofEnoch This is so real. I wonder what the 'switch' is that gets you out of that learned helplessness.
@Cerbrosyn If by 15 years old at 21 you mean youthful then I'd count that as a blessing. You couldn't have peated since you were born, all you can do now is try your best and don't repeat mistakes of your parents for your own children and grandchildren.

RE: Grip strength is a reliable biomarker of biological age
Nice simple article. I will be going around gatherings with a grip strength meter now.
Add to that the rising rates of strokes and heart attacks in the under-40 crowd, the close to 50% infertility, close to 50% mental illness in young women, the ~70% decline of male testosterone levels since the 1970s, the highest suicide rate (and rising) ever recorded in the young, diminishing physical strength, etc
I think it's time to at least add pregnenolone to the water-supply. Maybe some T3. Quite a depressing state of affairs and does not seem to be getting better for the majority.
I recall a Korean study on BMR and grip strength that's my go to article for explaining this phenomena of high metabolism link with strength and longevity.

RE: Ordered Idealabs and now the police are after me
@tea Estonia (allegedly). I think it's a freak incident.

RE: Ordered Idealabs and now the police are after me
@Flutten Dont tell them anything. Dont ask where the package is, I think that's what fucked me @mnemosyne . They held mine for a month.
@CO3 I don't think that works in Europe, pretty sure all hormones are illegal to order.

Ordered Idealabs and now the police are after me
Major retard on my part.
Ordered pansterone and tyromix, just got a call to the customs.
Apparently illegal? Probably the DHEA and pregnenolone but I scoured the rpf and no one seems to have had problems ordering to the EU.They are taking me to questioning, what do I say? "I was experimenting" or "I thought it was a random supplement" are my best ideas.

RE: Iron Overload: Should I Care?
Iron overload is one of the main "Peaty" causes of disease.
Under stress (oxygen deficiency) a high iron concentration in blood and organs results in the iron producing more reactive electrons. This is bad!
Similarly to PUFA, the degradation happens over many years and suddenly manifests as a functional disease, at which point you will go to a hospital and get something to treat that problem. To lower iron eat less meat and replace calories in your diet with milk/cheese. I think you can also do a blood donation to instantly drop your iron levels and people who donate blood tend to be healthier overall. Look: Cancer incidence and Heart health . The healthful effects are attributed to the iron- and other toxic heavy metal reducing effect of phlebotomy.
When eating meat, drink coffee with lots of milk. Coffee inhibits iron absorption.
U can also take copper or eat copper-rich foods. Copper turns ferrous iron (stressed) into ferric iron (passive). Copper retention is also managed by stress.Read: https://raypeat.com/articles/articles/iron-dangers.shtml
NB: "Normal ranges" are BS, i.e. Peat wanted everyone to have a TSH as close to 0 as possible and his recommended maximum was at where our 'normal' starts.
