@GreekDemiGod I agree he isnt as credible as someone like Ray who has years of research and experimentation under his belt. But. its also not nescesarily true that young people can feel good eating any diet. Im in ny early 20s and when i was raw vegan I felt sick, fatigued, i lost my libido, and my muscle mass. I had anxiety attacks induced from hypoglycemia and felt terrible.

RE: Anabology Honey Diet & Protein Restriction
@RawGoatMilk88 True, Im all for abundance and variety. I dont see my self being this restrictive if i were to try a "protein restriction" esque diet. The generic ray peat OJ and Milk diet doesnt seem very appetizing either if thats all your eating haha. Thats why I like making real meals like milk powder pancakes, fruit custards, soups ice cream etc.

RE: Anabology Honey Diet & Protein Restriction
@RawGoatMilk88 Honey, dates, and cream sounds gross? We have very different taste sir. Also sugar doesnt cause tooth decay if you have a sterile gut/oral microbiome, a good Ca:P ratio, and enough vitamin K2.

Anabology Honey Diet & Protein Restriction
User @anabology has gained popularity on X with his unique take on health. He advocates for eating little to no protein until dinner with unlimited sugar throughout the day in the form of honey/fruit. He eats 2k+ calories from just dates and honey. Im interested in trying this out but wondering your takes on it. Honey is not as nutrient dense as OJ or Milk so this could cause issues. But overall i think he has some great ideas. His personal regimen includes 1LB honey, 1/2 LB dates, some beef or milk at dinner and some heavy cream
A day of eating for me would look smth like this
Many are familiar with Ray's "80-100g" protein recommendation but what most people don't realize is that this was in the context of a 4-5k calorie diet. Ray clarified in Danny's GE podcast that his 100g recommendation was based on a 4–5K calorie diet. That meant he technically recommended a lower protein diet, not a higher one for most people who eat far less than that. Methionine, tryptophan, and cystein are known to be immflamitory and suppress thyroid. Restricting these amino acids can increase lifespan and metabolisn along with other benefits.

RE: Honey & Cream Homemade Taffy
@Snow Yes these are very similar to caramel or toffee. Traditional taffy is usually fruit-flavored but these are more similar to a browned butter/caramel flavor.

Honey & Cream Homemade Taffy
Homemade chewy sweet taffy you can make from home with all natural ingredients.
Recipe:
1 Cup Raw Honey
1/2 Cup Raw Cream
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Baking SodaCombine the honey, cream, and salt together in a saucepan. Stir to combine. Bring the mixture to 280 degrees without stirring.
Add the baking soda into the taffy and stir quickly to combine. Transfer the taffy to a buttered baking dish. Allow the taffy to cool until you can touch it comfortably.
With buttered hands, lift the taffy from the dish and begin stretching it and folding it over itself. Keep doing this until the taffy is light and taffy-like. Wrap each piece in a small piece of parchment paper. -
RE: Low waking temp on thyroid
@herayclitus Are you taking Cynomel alone with no T4? T3 is fast releasing so it might not be able to keep you warm all throughout the night and morning. Combining cynoplus with cynomel could help in that case.

Oxtail Broth/Soup
Oxtail Soup is an excellent source of gelatin, collagen, and glycine. It's tender, flavorful, and full of these anti-imflammitory compounds. This is how I prepare oxtail.
Recipe:
-1–2 pounds grassfed beef oxtail
-Sea salt
-3 medium carrots, cut into 1–2 inch pieces
-2 celery stalks, chopped roughly
-1 medium yellow onion, chopped roughly
-6 cloves of garlic, peeled and crushed
-2 sprigs fresh rosemary
-1 tbsp butter or tallow
-1-2 cups water (or broth)Heat pan to high temperature. Salt oxtail. Fry oxtail on all sides in butter or tallow. Boil water or broth in a pot with carrots, celery, onions, garlic, and rosemary. Add the fried oxtail in the pot and boil for 3 hours. Save the broth or eat is as a soup.
(In the images below i already had a flavorful broth saved so there are no additional vegetables in the broth)
