I’ve heard of people getting better results from creatine while taking baking soda too so that might deal with the CO2 issue

RE: Urine that smells like “soy sauce”?
@TopicalsOnBalls sugar won’t smell. you might have maple syrup urine disease. how long has this been going on? MSUD is extremely serious

RE: Is painting peaty?
There is no need to wish. Simply do it. I’m taking up painting this year as well.

RE: How do you explain to normies that sugar is good for you?
A key strategy for sharing fringe beliefs is speaking of them nonchalantly as if they’re not fringe at all. I’ve had normie coworkers that are very prone to attacking “conspiracy theories” parrot my claims that keto causes diabetes simple because I discussed it casually like it was common knowledge

RE: Insensitive People
@Tahodama I’ve more or less been the same and it could just mean you’re in a pretty good state and there’s not a whole lot to be done. Danny Roddy has described “hyper responders” as hypometabolic, so it would make sense if the inverse were true

RE: How to eat gelatin?
If you can handle starch I usually add two spoonfuls when I cook rice

RE: Lucid Dreaming Tips Thread
I haven’t done this in a while but when I was a kid I heard that your brain has trouble processing hands in dreams, so in waking life I made a habit of frequently looking at my hands and verifying the correct number and length of digits. Eventually, the habit carried into dreams and I looked at my hands, I would see the fingers getting longer and shorter and say something like “whoa I’m dreaming”. The first time the realization woke me up almost immediately but it worked a few times before I lost the habit.

RE: meme explanation? / concentric exercise
@SpicyPeater I think concentric promotes mitochondrial biogenesis whereas eccentric is the tearing apart and healing of muscles, which bodybuilders tend to think is what matters. Training is still good but extreme hypertrophy is usually facilitated by inflammatory practices, hence bodybuilders swearing by high PUFA foods like chicken and peanut butter

Accidentally used entire bottle of Gonadin in 3 days
When I first used it (sublingually) I noticed there was a ton of liquid in my mouth, but I figured it was just because I wasn’t used to 8 drops of anything.
Either I was squeezing too hard or the nozzle was messed up because now after three days the bottle’s empty.
Should I be concerned? Are there any negative or maybe even positive effects of such megadoses? I certainly felt some dopaminergic and androgenic effects, but I have no idea about possible sub-perceptual or long-term effects.
Currently also taking androsterone topically and pregnenolone orally.
If @haidut could weigh in that’d be great.

RE: Royaljelly
@b1 I love the concept of it but unfortunately I felt nothing after like 2 months

Aspirin Anecdote
All I have to say is one of my coworkers OD’d on coke and intuitively downed an entire bottle of aspirin, which he’s certain saved his life. I subsequently introduced him to Ray. Thought it was worth sharing here.

Bloo Bath
Just took a bath with 1/2 pound of baking soda and some Bloo.
Hot water (filtered), lasted maybe 20–30 minutes.
I’ve read mixed reports on hot baths, including Ray’s own words on the matter and my only concern would be any anti-androgenic effects, if they’re actually substantial with moderate infrequent heat exposure.
I didn’t use enough to stain my skin, but I certainly felt the effects. Stepping out of the bath it felt like I was some Nazi superhuman experiment emerging from a pod. Energy coursing through my tissue and mind, yet relaxed at the same time.
Has anyone else actually taken the Bloo bath?
Might start doing it a few times a month.

RE: Best Idealabs combo/ stack to raise androgens?
@GreekDemiGod how much Andro were you using and how did you know estrogen was too low? I’m w just started using a few drops a day without any other androgenic supplements

RE: The starch question
@raytreats For what it’s worth, I’m pretty sure Dr. Peat said nixtamalization effectively broke down starches, among other benefits. I’ve had good digestion with nixtamalized foods. If you look into it, don’t fall for Masa; Xochitl sells organic nixtamalized chips for a price that’s not absolutely retarded
