@Hearthfire said in Tracking down the mysterious cause of Dr. Paul Saladino's shockingly rapid aging:

Low Vitamin D and using sunscreen is what causes cancer and aged skin look.

Do you have any sources/studies/testimonials about it ?

        @Gardner

Doubt there will be a good source for that.

Sunscreen absolutely prevents aging of the skin.

I have noticed the same aging with Brendan from Santa Cruz, a Paul Saladino type, who promotes kind of the same anti seed oil-surf bro lifestyle as Paul. Where they differ though is that Brendan is an weed bro who sells hemp products as well as beef tallow.

Compare these two screenshots from his tiktok page, the first one is from 2022 and the second one 2024, roughly 2 years apart. In the first photo he is 30 years old and in the second he’s 32.

          2022:

          Maybe it’s the hemp ?

I have just listened to the latest interview with Dr. Saladino and he seems to following Ray's advice only to some extent like 50-60%...

It probably has to do with facial fat, same happened to Bryan Johnson :

In Paul's defense, the dude has a jawline that I bet surpasses any of you neckbeards commenting on here... and also has muscle tone and output that none of you porch monkeys could match.

However, sure, his face looks like it has more wrinkles and is aged more than your typical 47 yr old! (Or does it... have any of you actually seen what the average 47 year old looks like?)

But influencers and health gurus are held to a higher standard....

I personally believe if he wasn't so scared of starch and incorporated more of them in his diet, he would make face gains.

Being a public figure and subjecting yourself to the stress involved with that also likely isn't helping at all.

Aging is truly down to minimizing stress and maximizing metabolism.

Interesting how nobody in this thread mentioned iron overload. His diet is mostly red meat and fruit juice (which has vitamin C to enhance iron absorption).

My assumptions based on experience, exess sunlight, liver, and potentially oranges flesh fruits such as mango and papaya.(i wish paul the best if he has genuine intents)

Wrinkles can be partly caused by suboptimal muscles relaxations, direct sunlight exposure can contribute to suboptimal muscles relaxation when exessive relative to the person needs(if any), specifically if it hit the eyes, as it can lead to squinting.

" direct Sunlight exposure is good for humans" and "liver is good for humans"narratives arnt true, whever its good, neutral or bad depend on many factors, and if it feel bad, its bad for you.
He eat many foods that can make sunlight exposure worst for you such as papayas, liver and potentially mangos not sure, if i eat mangos or papaya sunlight can feel instantly worst, burning, not enjoyable, and damaging potentially, same with liver part of times, same with many other foods, some foods will make sunlight direct exposure be worst or bad for you, some foods will make some direct sun exposure be better or optimal for you in some contexts.

Even direct sunlight exposure at dawn, 5 6am can be exessive and suboptimal or bad for a person, if If the the weather is already warm like 25 degree celcius+ per exemple.

Plants and animals have adaptations to deem/mitigate how much sunlight they get in, whever its body hair/fur/feather, specific colors, specific skin color, going in shade, going under water, covering them self with dirt or mud. Sunlight and movement isnt necessary pro longevity, fertility and health, and can worsen all three .

Second health of the animal matter, if you eat foods from animals that have high enough concentration of poison, it will impact you specifically organs and potentially fat, liver and kidneys even from 100percent grass fed animals can look deadly, scent deadly and taste deadly, at first the food might cause sex desire, then at some point stoicism, and it slowly kill you even tho you feel Nothing, or the stoicism goes away, and then you start to feel pains and realise it was poisonous

Below i add 2 pictures, first one of a 100percent grass fed free roaming female elk, that was 100 percent grass fed, in "nature", it looked and scented deadly, alot of people that eat beef liver communly consume that type of liver, wouldnt surprise me if even liver pills are partly or mostly made from that type of liver.

Second one is from a lamb, look much better( even that second one might not be optimal for a person) scent nothing like the other one, no infos on whever its grass fed, but gauging by appearance, either wasnt years old, or not grass fed, and potentially wool from sheeps block alot of sunlight from going inside their body therefore they are relatively healthyer that other animals with thinner furs in a similar environnement, as i assume either sunlight can drain nutrients and therefore you have less to process subotimal stuffs from foods you eat, or direct sun exposure+ some of the things they get in grass combined worsen their health and make their organs and fat more poisonous.
