@Norwegian-Mugabe
This is why I put some weight on the theory that large European skulls are a factor in some hairloss because it disrupts blood flow to the scalp. And why anything that increases peripheral blood flow seems to help with this type of hairloss.

Has anyone else tried this? Do you get any noticeable effects of high magnesium utilization?

RE: HG7 protocol - anyone tried it?
@Ismail
I don’t think this formula is doing exactly what he thinks it does, but the mega dosed biotin, B5 are potentially effective ways to increase ATP and glycogen which could benefit zinc transport. He claims to be taking over 200mg of zinc per day for years. This doesn’t make a lot of sense that this formula is absorbing and utilizing that much because the entire body contains only 3 grams of zinc. So i think some of the effects of this formula is anti microbial effects on the digestive tract as a lot of the vitamin C and zinc is not likely absorbed into the blood. That said I do think optimizing zinc utilizations is very important for optimal metabolism, but whether this formula is the “holy grail” I have my doubts. He talks about it still causing him anger and other extreme reactions even after years of taking it. And he has only increased his dosages of all these things over the years. That makes no sense if the formula’s purpose is correcting deficiency.
Optimal iron levels are easy to achieve by just eating less heme iron and donating blood. I doubt copper toxicity is a major issue for most people. Low liver function is probably the root cause there as the liver creates the copper transport proteins, so maybe things like high biotin and B5 could help the liver be supplied with ample glycogen.
There could be some useful therapeutic things about this formula but this Heisenberg guys reports of his formula making him angry sometimes sounds off to me, so there could be better different combinations and ratios than what he recommends.

RE: peatbros… how do we respond without sounding mad?
That's no way to live. I'd prefer to just have a few easy things make me feel and perform reliably like a peak health 20 year old even when under high stress. Seems most biohackers have settled on TRT injecting testosterone propionate, DHT enanthate and also some E2 weekly. I don't really want to do that either. So what does that leave us that easy and works reliably? Probably something like high biotin and thiamine and coffee.

RE: Making progesterone at home
@JamesL that's just my experience. No response whatsoever from prohormones in general without smashing cortisol/serotonin down first. You can probably do this naturally just by eating above maintenance and maybe some caffeine.
-
RE: Making progesterone at home
@JamesL Another possibility is when ACTH is too high progesterone may not be metabolized into destressing pathways. At my worst I didn't feel anything positive from progesterone until I was taking a dose of cyproheptadine every 8 hours to suppress ACTH.

RE: Making progesterone at home
@JamesL Have you tried any other progesterone products like Ona's, Health Natura, or Forefront?
-
RE: Making progesterone at home
@gloryus have you tried idealabs progesterone to see if you get the same effects? Pretty sure they go through a lot of effort to get the most pure ingredients available.
-
RE: Making progesterone at home
@JamesL getting estrogen symptoms from progesterone can be tissue estrogen being pushed into the blood and not being properly processed and removed through the live, bile and dietary fiber. If this might be the case for you, you could maybe try supplementing a little taurine to stimulate liver bile release and make sure to get your daily carrot salad or activated charcoal in.

RE: Curing Homosexuality with Ivermectin and other anti-parasitic drugs
@theB02 the ivermectin probably won't hurt you, but I doubt parasites are a main cause of modern homosexuality. Prenatal stress of other types might be more likely.
https://t3uncoupled.substack.com/p/homosexuality-as-a-symptom-of-metabolic
Might also explain why in very large families that the final children are more likely to have gender/sex abnormalities because the mother is more likely to have a stressful pregnancy. That said if you do have parasites you're probably going to feel a lot better if you get rid of them.

RE: What's up with the EGCG health potion trending on RPF?
They are double and tripling the doses and doing it multiple times per day now. I don't see this ending well. Any questioning of the reasoning of what they're doing is shot down as you being the crazy one.

RE: advantages and disadvantages of training
@patriarch yes. you should do a couple easy warm up sets to get blood flowing into the muscle. But yeah a single working set. Once 12 reps become easy you can slowly add a pound every week to a weight belt. In a couple years you could be doing 100 pounds added.
Slow and steady wins the race. Gym rat routines with 5 workouts a week with lots of volume are really unnecessary if your goals is just slowly building muscle mass and strength and in most cases counter productive.
-
RE: advantages and disadvantages of training
@patriarch you can make progress doing one working set per exercise per week. That's all it takes, so there's really no reason to do more unless its your life purpose to train for a particular activity that requires more.

There is no commercially produced DHT enanthate apparently

The AlphaGel guy might be looking to source/produce it though.

RE: What's up with the EGCG health potion trending on RPF?
@Korven my first impression is any benefits he thinks he’s getting from the formula could be from the mega dosed biotin improving glucose metabolism and maybe the mega dosed vitamin c acting as an electron carrier. An energized liver should be producing all the ceruloplasmin and transferrin that is needed to regulate copper and iron to be utilized properly. Adequate atp being produced in cells should be optimizing zinc utilization at much lower levels than the 100mg+ his formula calls for.
So any strategy to increase oxphos should have a good effect on copper, iron and zinc homeostasis. Whether this formula has any special advantages over others or if it’s detrimental in many cases will probably be apparent within the next month or two as the forum members going all in should be honest enough about the effect it’s having on them and some are doing blood/hair tests to get some picture of what it’s doing.
The fact that this Heisenberg fellow still likes to do his formula daily or even multiple time daily to maintain what he thinks are the main benefits suggests it probably is the biotin and vitamin c effects on metabolism that he is feeling and not so much the chelation/zinc effects. He’s uninterested in blood tests of any kind so all we have is his word.
