@Mauritio - Yes, it appears that he is not interested in patenting.
He selected the least expensive form of B1 to make his invention accessible to as many people as possible.
I am a registered patent attorney. I think he could obtain a patent based on the limited facts that I have. He solved a long-standing problem; that is a strong indication of patentability.
Ok in that case ,you know more about this than me.
Would be an interesting thing to ask him if he has any intentions on patenting it.

BTW if anyone finds any other ways to boost FGF22 let me know. I feel like boosting FGF22 is a better way key to get the benefits of MR without having to eat in a too restricted way.
I think methionine restriction boosts FGF22 something like 800% and I have yet to find anything else that comes even close to that .
It might be that he is waiting for a publication, but Im not sure if he really wants to patent this treatment. Did he say that anywhere ?
Plus, I'm not sure if you can patent a combination of basic vitamins. Normally you would have to change something structurally on the molecules ...

I took my first tablet yesterday.
It increases muscle fullness and I am feeling more androgenic. I think it is good for liver health. Had some bile dumps and felt a sense of relief after.
I am currently adjusting my thyroid dosage and everbody who did that before knows that can be a pain in the ass and you might have to go through a few days of suboptimal thyroid function. Ergothioneine definitely helped with that and relieved the low mood and lethargy associated with hypothyroidism. It also made me more active during the day, but sleep was very refreshing.
Verbal fluency seems increased.
The only downside is hair loss is a bit increased. But not strongly.
I can only encourage people to try it. Given its long half life it might be taken only 1 or twice a week since the body accumulates it similarly to the fat soluble vitamins.

Peat has a very old newsletter where he says that UV rays cause a film of free radicals on hair (and skin) that can persist for a few hours ,even after leaving the sun. Just a few seconds of red light will neutralize the free radicals.

Not only that, I already mentioned that some gut bacteria can synthesize ergothioneine. One of them is L. Reuteri. It can increase testosterone dramatically and is anti-inflammatory. Well, another benefit can be added to the list now! Hans made an interesting video on it.
I always suspected there was more to semaglutide than it lowering appetite.
It increases FGF21 sensitivity. So in a way it is mimicking methionine restriction.
In many diseases FGF21 is high (I assume as an adaptive response), but similarly as in diabetes and insulin, their body is resistant to it. So there is such a thing as FGF21 resistance, which is ameliorated by semaglutide, leading to weight loss.
Protein restriction might be the best option to increase FGF21 and thus longevity, but not the easiest. Something that everybody can do at home and that Peat had recommended for decades is to eat lots of carbs.
This human study shows that Increasing carb intake is way more effective at increasing FGF21 than incresaing fat intake.
The protein intake was the same during the whole study.
The FGF21 concentration increased 8-fold in the high carb group!
"After CHO, plasma FGF21 concentration increased 8-fold compared to CON (329 ± 99 vs. 39 ± 9 pg ml-1, p < 0.05)."
So protein restriction might not even be necessary.
Another interesting fun fact is that the high carb diet increased the concentration of palmitoleic acid by almost 150%. Its interesting that when the body makes new fat that it is a pro-metabolic MUFA. Palmitoelic acid is contained in macadamia nuts a lot.
