@evan-hinkle gnarly. Right on. Baking soda gives me a rash, hence why so many natural deodorants are a no go for me

@LucH thanks for responding. I must say I find your comment hard to understand but I will check out the links and perhaps it will be more clear. Seems like you’re emphasizing histimine reactions being prevalent due to my current diet. Are you suggesting i stop taking the sacc boulardi due to probiotics confusing the microbiome?
I definitely don’t know what you mean by this, “ First calm down / dampen. But not once left and once on the right side. Need a plan. What I can't do here.” perhaps English isn’t your first language or I’m daft or both….
Thanks for clarifying that you’re not a medical professional, I haven’t found any medical professionals to be helpful for wellbeing and nutrition.

@Corngold thanks for responding.
To answer your questions, I was on a vegan diet because it originally remedied all of my skin issues in my 20s (acne, psoriasis, eczema), but eventually I felt weak, depleted etc. I was cleansing/detoxing in my 30s utilizing bentonite clay and other supps followed by liver gallbladder flushes because I was convinced it would help my gut after years of medication as a kid and then the vegan diet in my 20s. It helped me be able to not be so restrictive with my diet and seemed to help with intolerances and gut discomfort.
I believe my issues to be fungal because antifungal meds (Diflucan) provide relief, but it’s harsh on my body and only provides temporary relief. I eat fruit and veggie brother and greens every meal, gelatin and collagen (supplement) give me gas and skin issues but I also drink bone broth everyday and eat bone marrow and oxtail. I stopped drinking 6 weeks ago to see if that was the underlying issue and I haven’t gotten any better as a result.
I had a plantar wart in the same spot when I was 24 and I got it frozen off and went vegan and it never came back (even not being vegan now for over 15 years).
Thanks for the link I’ll check it out.

RE: natural deodorant
@happycat I’ve heard this from many on the RP forum and haven’t tried so I’ll look into it. Thanks

RE: natural deodorant
@wrl thank you. yes I’ve used that effectively in the past but most oils feed seb derm and fungal issues so I’m looking for alternatives.

RE: natural deodorant
@samson interesting. I’ve never heard of androsterone so I’ll check it out. I agree that when I’m relaxed I have no noticeable smell and when I’m anxious I stink

RE: natural moisturizer
Additional info: I’ve found Squalane oil (specifically derived from sugarcane, the olive ones clog pores) to be the least irritating and pore clogging but it offers little help with dryness, as I have to use a lot and have to reapply to combat dry flakes and tightness, and then I end up super shiney and still kind of dry. I drink salted water and fruit juice and broth so I’m internally hydrated. I’ve tried the oil cleansing method but seems to irritate my skin so now I’m just washing with filtered water

RE: natural moisturizer
@samson thank you. I’ve tried tallow in the past and it was greasy and led to breakouts. And I like coconut oil in the summer for my body to deal help with sun exposure but it also makes my face break out. I’ve used honey as a face wash and mask I’m the past and it’s great but pretty drying

RE: insights welcome
@nothingclever i am currently not eating starches/complex carbs and feeling a bit better, though I don't stay full/satiated for long after eating. i think i was having reactions to eggs and chocolate and sugarcane so i cut those out, and I'm taking some liver cleansing supps along with glutathione and glutamate and sacc boulardi. I'm basically just eating dates/berries and seafood 3 times a day, along with bone broth throughout the day and herbal tea.

RE: insights welcome
@nothingclever i believe i have a systemic fungal issue, either due to a long-term vegan diet in the past or too many colon cleanses/detoxing or mold exposure or messed up microbiome or all of the above. I've tried anti-candida diets and keto and carnivore and ray peat style eating on and off and experienced some relief at times. I've also been prescribed diflucan which provides temporary relief but is harsh on my body. the more i read and research and experiment that more i think all of my symptoms are related to an underlying fungal issue, though when i was near bed ridden at my worst years ago i got tested for mycotoxins and it came back negative, same for lyme, and all my blood work was good....
