I drink milk all day long, so I could never take it without proximity to dairy. I use armour ndt, which has to be digested for body usage.

RE: is 0.768 ppm lead for ceylon cinnamon too high?
@Mossy , between that site abd this one, you wonder if ANY prepared food is safe. The best thing on these charts is plain chocolate m&m.

RE: microplastics, heavy metals in salt, sugar
@the-MOUSE , from the process description:
"In addition, no salt product had high enough microplastics that could be conclusively recognized through FTIR testing"I don't know if there is another kind of test that is better for microplastic.

@LucH -"For example, cells in your arteries require zinc. If zinc is not available, the body will substitute toxic cadmium for this metal. The result is arteries that are less flexible, leading to high blood pressure and damaged or cracked arterial walls. The body then tries to repair the damaged arteries by patching the cracks with plaque (=> cholesterol)."
This is new info to me. How much Zinc/how often for a person who won't eat oysters? I think I remember this is a mineral you don't want to overdo.

Yes I do hold a smart phone for an extended period of time. I'm as addicted as anybody else
I try to prop my phone again something as much as possible so I am not actually holding it when I use it. I have been looking for something to hold with the phone in it when I do have to have it in hand, so I am touching it as little as possible.

RE: All things diabetes
@yerrag said in All things diabetes:
My own hot take (since I never had type 1 diabetes) is taking insulin injections will keep you type 1 diabetic just as the more you wear glasses the more your eyesight deteriorates. Insulin is overrated. You don't rely on it to absorb sugar as potassium is what does that. Insulin only lowers blood sugar by signalling the liver to convert blood sugar to fats, among many other things it does
Would you have time to expound on this? I can remember Peat, I think, saying one day insulin would be considered malpractice in treating a diabetic. What would be your thoughts if you knew a type 1?

RE: Increased eye pressure/glaucoma, anyone has dealt with it?
@Ecstatic_Hamster - I think you can join with an email, no charge, and access all content. I think I did that once, and I get email notifications of new articles.

RE: Increased eye pressure/glaucoma, anyone has dealt with it?
Sub stack, A Midwestern Doctor, has a series of articles on the historical usage of DMSO, buried by FDA. The latest article deals with healing eyes with dmso. Maybe worth a read. I plan to try on myself and DH for a few issues.

RE: BV #3: Georgi Dinkov Responds To Estrogen Criticism, Serotonin Confusion, & Low Thyroid On Carnivore
Georgi states that mk4 is about to become an approved drug for treatment of a cancer.
Should we assume he will no longer sell kuinone.

RE: BV #3: Georgi Dinkov Responds To Estrogen Criticism, Serotonin Confusion, & Low Thyroid On Carnivore
This is fantastic, I hope there are more.
I get that everyone wants to be their own person/entity/etc, but don't the best results come from collaboration and building upon the works and thoughts of others, bouncing ideas off others producing some incredible insights
Eg- reading Dr. Raymond Peat, and speaking with Georgi Dinkov has apparently made a tremendous impact on mercola- as he exclaims often when he gets a concept on air in the dinkov interviews.
This bit from Dr. Peat is talking about personal relationships, but I think it is easily transferable to humble professional ones as well:

Do you have the study?

The last example, if you are reading on your phone and zoom in to enlarge the text, takes less side to side movements to read.

RE: Progest-E as a contraceptive.
It would be vaginally. I think the idea is that while pregnant, the body ramps up progesterone to support pregnancy. Using vaginally is to make the body think it is already pregnant, and therefore would not have need for another implantation.
Ray Peat spoke about this in an interview.

RE: Traumatic Injury Supplemental Stack
Per Dr Peat, squeeze a bunch of progesterone in your mouth.
