Bromley had a pretty good video on working glutes.

RE: How do I get thin again, Peating fixed my health but made me put on a lot of fat
tbh given that you're an intermediate who lost his gains just get your old gains back and then cut, it'd probably be the most efficient way to do this. i wrote what i wrote bc i thought you were a novice or smth

RE: How do I get thin again, Peating fixed my health but made me put on a lot of fat
how many calories are you eating per day? track your calories and eat like 500 less than what you've currently be eating. and start walking A LOT. take photos of yourself once a week and weigh yourself once a day.
tbh there's two routes you can do.
-
this is the long-term inclined route. i'm not sure how strong you are, but get into lifting and then put on a bunch of muscle, which helps your metabolism get higher, and then cut. this will help you long-term because you're less likely to get fat since muscle takes a lot of eating to maintain

if you just want to lose weight immediately, do the cut immediately and stop once you can see your jawline.

RE: How I overcame reflux
@ParthianCoconut peating fixed my acid reflux as well. glad to see someone else had this experience!

RE: Help me fill up my peaty lists
replace ur chicken with skyr for a more peaty protein source (and tbh a tastier one)

RE: NEED BULKING ADVICE!!!!!
@13 how many calories a day are you eating? tracking that and being consistent and gradually increasing that, while running a proper program, is usually the move. get like 3000 kcal/day (rice, OJ, milk, and yogurt will be your best friend here) and you'll gain weight fast. and if that doesn't work, increase your calorie count.

RE: Which Peaty supplements would you sneak in your pop's morning coffee or late night cup of cocoa?
surprised no one's said this, but coconut oil is really easy to sneak into coffee. i remember when i used to drink coffee id throw it into my coffee.

RE: Most Peaty Spices?
@ZeroTron i'm not sure about its peat status, but hungarian paprika is amazing. in the USA, paprika has been watered down.

RE: is Halo Top ice cream peaty?
@nazi the writings of Peat are extremely enlightening with respect to health. I highly recommend reading Generative Energy if you haven't, as the first principles of Dr. Peat's views of biology are laid out there.

RE: is Halo Top ice cream peaty?
It kinda goes without saying, but the soybean oil, gums, and erythritol are all bad. there's other bad stuff here but tbh just get haagen dasz, it's cheaper, has more calories, and doesn't have bad ingredients.
peat on vegetable oils - https://raypeat.com/articles/articles/unsaturated-oils.shtml
interviews where peat talks about gums - https://www.bioenergetic.life/?q=gum
erythritol and heart issues - https://www.nature.com/articles/s41591-023-02223-9

RE: Ice Cream Evening Chat
@LinDaiyu I have a gallon of vanilla Haagen Dasz in my freezer that I rely on for a lot of my food intake. It goes super good with baked goods though so I'm not complaining.

RE: Peaty fighting sports...
@SelectiveBreeder I don't think they are because they raise your cortisol while fighting. Doesn't stop me from doing it though because they're SUPER fun and tbh I'd rather die than not be a martial artist. Martial arts are my oldest friend; how could I abandon them?

Skyr!
Has anyone here tried Skyr? It's really tasty and it's a high protein source that isn't a muscle meat, a nut, or soy. It tastes very very tasty if you throw berries and honey into it!

RE: Why do you believe in God?
@Caray this personal sense of longing is something an author from the 20th century, Msgr. Luigi Giussani, talks about. I wonder what your thoughts on his work, The Religious Sense, would be.

RE: Why do you believe in God?
Off the top of my head, two things. One "intellectual" and the other from personal experience.
For the intellectual reason, I think that Aristotle, St. Thomas, and Leibniz, among others, have extremely strong arguments for God. So I guess on that note, the existence of God is not really a thing of "faith" but a demonstration from first principles belonging to the science of philosophy.
The other reason is prayer, specifically, praying the Rosary. It showed me the power of God in a direct way in my own life.
