Peating grew my facial bones especially cheekbones, but theres no point as it made me giga fat. Ive been trying to lose weight for months but my weight on the scale stays the same. I do t3, low PUFA, cook only in coconut oil, use nicotine, sometimes stims etc etc but its all cope. Inb4 just PUFA deplete and wait 10 years when the weight will drop off bro!!! I cant wait that long. Just tell me how to lose weight at a manageable rate without completely destroying my insides by heavy cutting/ sugar restriction. Ive even tried low dose DNP and it didnt do much

how many calories are you eating per day? track your calories and eat like 500 less than what you've currently be eating. and start walking A LOT. take photos of yourself once a week and weigh yourself once a day.

tbh there's two routes you can do.

      1. this is the long-term inclined route. i'm not sure how strong you are, but get into lifting and then put on a bunch of muscle, which helps your metabolism get higher, and then cut. this will help you long-term because you're less likely to get fat since muscle takes a lot of eating to maintain

      2. if you just want to lose weight immediately, do the cut immediately and stop once you can see your jawline.

I've decided to wander for ten years. There were two men - they walked the same road, but after ten years, they discovered completely opposite truths. So I think if I wander for ten years, I'll be able to find my own truth.

@sztrapacska I just started creatine loading and lifting weights. I also read that t3 increases MPS although bodybuilders say its the opposite (but thats prolly cause theyre using huge doses a day making them sensitive to adrenaline). Thing is I look leaner in the mirror ever since I started tracking cals and lifting and using t3 but my weight on the scale doesnt budge. Can increased water retention from creatine, and the muscle from t3 and lifting (im an intermediate lifter who lost all his gains so I have sattelite cells that make me get relatively big again pretty fast) and maybe increased bone density from cypro, progesterone, aspirin megadosing and t3 be hiding the actual fat loss? I dont know how to calculate it however , for eg idk how much bone weight can increase after a month of high co2 and calcium/vitamin D and k2, how much the MPS from t3 is in humans etc,

But if you see yourself thinner in the mirror, isn't that a sign that you're losing body fat even though the scales remain the same?

t3 increases synthesis and degradation, so it's good to have a good diet to support synthesis.

@TexugoDoMel where does it increase muscle degradation and at what dosages? I think MPS heavily outweighs the degradation at certain doses and vice versa at @superphysiologic doses”

@thyroidchor27 you need to spend more time walking.

if you are unwilling or unable to walk more, then you need to either lift the weights more intensely, or consume fewer calories.

It's just a logical conclusion, I think what will define the balance between synthesis and degradation are the stimuli (e.g. mechanical like exercise, and "chemical" like nutrients in the diet, energy, hormones) or the lack of them.

You can see this kind of relationship between synthesis and degradation in hyperthyroidism, despite the doubling of testosterone the waste of muscle in hyperthyroidism is well known, I don't know if the result would be the same if you converted the rat/person into a kind of "hummingbird like being" by feeding it every half hour to see if the opposite happened.

tbh given that you're an intermediate who lost his gains just get your old gains back and then cut, it'd probably be the most efficient way to do this. i wrote what i wrote bc i thought you were a novice or smth

@TexugoDoMel most people who are diagnosed as hyperthyroid have high TSH. Their problem is cells not taking up the thyroid so they linger around in bloodstream. Not that the gland just said fuck it and released a flood of hormones

@Truth latter but I come from a very high PUFA background. I think after I started Peating i probably lost atleast half my PUFA stores but the other half is still there and I can feel the effects it has on me. Sometimes when I take high doses of aspirin, and get the perfect nutrition and t3 dose I get to a state of being which I would suspect would be what very low PUFA would feel like. Im also confused because I look leaner in the mirror and my muscles feel tighter and bigger but the scale doesnt budge much

@thyroidchor27 if you are taking K2 you can gain a lot in bone weight. I echo what others are saying, low fat and low intensity exercise is key.

@thyroidchor27 someone on twitter, can't remember the @, was taking 15mg daily and gained 10-15lbs in a few months without diet changes.

I took 2-4mg/day K2 for four months while bulking and gained 35 lbs. Impossible to quantify how much was bone for me.

                                  I'm currently taking 4g aspirin+ 10-12 mg K2 on a cut.

My best advice is to eat small meals. This will shrink your stomach and help prevent you from over eating. Allow yourself to feel hungry for long periods of time in between meals. Low protien, mostly collagen. High carb, starch or sugar. Eat fat to satisfaction, highly saturated obviously. Im at like 13% body fat and this typically how I eat. I consume OJ and 1% milk throughout the day as needed, lots of redbull and mexican coke (never water). Endangered species dark chocolate bars (1 a day). Sourdough bread (bread of heaven) with butter or cheese. I also eat lunchables and killer browny cookie dough brownies as my guilty pleasure. One raw carrot a day, away from other meals. Lots of oysters, occasional beef.
