I haven't quite figured out how or why the brain downregulates sugar usage following every stress (any kind of stress). Stress seems to trigger lipolysis (vs glycolysis) and the damage is CUMULATIVE. Is this why stress kills? I've ordered his latest book. Hopefully he addresses this in depth.

@Peatful In that clip Ray's talking about the stress of hypoglycemia and that's something that can occur after a very large dose of plain glucose as the body overreacts following periods of hyperglycemia. In fact RP would promote fructose partly because it could suppress the blood glucose spike.

The big takeaway is how essential sugar (which the body converts or uses and or stores as glucose)
is for not only thyroid function but liver function as well

Let me also remind the two of you about some examples of recent happenings, and I would appreciate responses to them:
Do you think users should be able to post racial slurs without warning? Or that ban evasion should not be dealt with, which would render moderation in general obsolete? Or that users should be able to tell others to off themselves, which there is an explicit rule against? Or that I shouldn't warn users who are looking for posts to be angry about?
Mind you I let yesterday's situation go the whole day to give the user in question a fair shot to edit out the content. But they were belligerent and spent their last moments in my chat calling me mentally ill.
Let me repeat, *I spent the whole day wrangling a user I could have immediately banned, zero tolerance, and rather than enjoy a game expansion I've been waiting on, put that user first. A user who was nothing but rude to me from our first interaction.

I thought that is only the case for fat people, not me. But the blood tests seem to suggest some degree of insulin resistance and inability to properly oxidize glucose.
I'm assuming the biggest thing to address is to lower my fat intake. I've probably been averaging 35-40% fat in the last 5 years.
And reducing fat is harder that it seems at first glance.
This should help in reducing the levels of FFA in the blood, lead to better blood sugar regulation, and also reduce LDL cholesterol due to lower fat intake.
Any other tips? Haidut recommends high-dose Aspirin for a week or two, like 2-3 grams. Seems a bit risky.
