RE: did taking Armour the Peat way at night worked for you?
@GRay mercury should be more accurate. Have you looked up the symptoms of hypothyroidism?
-
RE: did taking Armour the Peat way at night worked for you?
@GRay 70's maybe 80's. If it's the 90's with lower temps it's probably adrenaline
-
RE: did taking Armour the Peat way at night worked for you?
@GRay the right way to determine hypothyroidism is check temp and pulse first thing in the am in bed. If your temp and pulse drops after eating, you have high adrenaline

@GRay seems solid though some peatards might give you grief. Do you check your pulse and temp on a regular basis?

RE: what is causing body hair/nose hair and ear hair if not androgens?
@wester130 In the US you can take a lot of these tests without doctors approval. Not sure about UK
-
RE: what is causing body hair/nose hair and ear hair if not androgens?
@wester130 have you gotten a blood test recently?
-
RE: what is causing body hair/nose hair and ear hair if not androgens?
@wester130 I thought Ray said SHBG should be higher. Don't quote me on that. Are you under the impression that it's lower and it's causing a greater concentration of nose and ear hair?

@wester130 as I stated before, I don't think male pcos is characterized by high androgens including "excess dht." I've seen females with pcos. They tend to have high estrogen, blood sugar and cortisol. Most likely similar with males.

@PEATCEL natty lol. What's your definition of "natty"

RE: did taking Armour the Peat way at night worked for you?
@GRay screenshot it and post it

@GRay record your diet in cronometer for a week and send me it
-
RE: did taking Armour the Peat way at night worked for you?
@GRay are you getting enough calcium? Are you consuming liver and oysters once a week? These are pertinent for your nutritional needs
-
RE: did taking Armour the Peat way at night worked for you?
@GRay when did Ray recommend this? Did he recommend this approach to someone specifically?

RE: Why didn't Peating™ work for Charlie of the Ray Peat Forum dot com?
Are we talking about original Charlie, new Charlie or one of his split personalities?
-
RE: what is causing body hair/nose hair and ear hair if not androgens?
@Corngold the stress hormones beget one another. Increased estrogen can lead to increased prolactin which can increase adrenaline. Nose/ear may have nothing to do with androgens
-
RE: what is causing body hair/nose hair and ear hair if not androgens?
@wester130 I generally view that as a sign of balding. Too much prolactin

@wester130 is male PCOS characterized by hyperandrogenism? I think it would be quite the opposite.
