I've had knee pain my whole life, but am now free of it. I switched to barefoot shoes and after a while of adjusting, my pain just went away. I like barefoot shoes a lot, because you feel more connected with the ground/world.

@Not_James_Bond thanks for the reply! Very interesting, and I can see how it would become necessary based on this. Did you look at Dr Lonsdale’s work in conjunction with your experimentation? I’ve come across his work before but I don’t think I understood how essential B1 is in my own personal context.

@oldchem Makes so much sense, thank you! Also worth mentioning since my brain injury I put on about 20lbs in the past 2 years, so have more bodyfat than before so this is all starting to make sense.

@S-Holmes MSM is organic, regular sulphur, also called flowers of sulphur, is inorganic. It's processed differently, and the latter is safer from what I remember. If I could find Ray's quote I would post it here.

@buckminster said in Airport Security Radiation Mitigation: What are folks thoughts on the dangers of the full-body scanner? Do ya opt for a pat down? What have been your experiences? [...] What can be done to mitigate the harmful effects? From (old) RPF Inosine, niacinamide, aspirin, caffeine, thyroid, methylene blue, tocopherols, progesterone, DHEA, etc. are all known radioprotectors. Ideally, they should be taken both before and after radiation exposure. When I got dental X-rays, I took 1g inosine and 1g niacinamide 1h before and then the same dose 1h after the X-rays. But even doing only before/after would be beneficial and if I had to choose between the two, I would take those before exposure. ~Georgi Dinkov

Some of your symptoms sound like mine (not all), I've also had the poisoned feeling many times.. I have mild crohns disease, according to a colonoscopy back in 2017. One thing that has helped me when I get real fatigued and body pains is taking bupropion, and the inflammation went down quite a bit, no more poisoned feeling and an increase in energy (probably because it increases norepinephrine). But I don't like being on pharmaceuticals and it wasn't curing the issue, just mitigating some of it. I usually go on it for 30-60 days and then go back off until things get bad again.
