Make sure to get a FUE hair transplant and it'll probably look good if the doctor is good. I think you have to think about potential negative effects from minoxidil vs stress/feeling bad about being bald. Aspirin may also reduce the effectiveness quite a bit if you're unlucky. You probably only need to use it once daily after a while since the half life in skin is about 22h. Also I doubt you'll be able to stop using it and keep the hair, havn't seen anyone keep the gains after a year. Might be worth considering if you're gonna do a hair transplant. Also only use topical, pill can be very dangerous.

@Hussle1738 i don't know how peaty this is, but maybe try picamilon (niacin and gaba bound together). Gaba taken on its own is probably peaty and haidut has mentioned it does seem to cross the blood brain barrier. Peat says increasing co2 will have a fantastic effect on gaba. He has mentioned valerian in a positive light with respect to this as well. Progesterone and pregnenalone (from peat): "Progesterone and pregnenolone and many other things act on the GABA receptor system. And pregnenolone happens to be one that doesn't have many other hormone-like effects. It's basically a stabilizer at all levels of cells in the brain." Seems like just going harder into peating will naturally stabilize the gaba system and may rid your nervousness. More info: https://bioenergetic.life/?q=Gaba

@skywxlker said in why do b vitamins make me hungry for beef?: @mostlylurking I sincerely appreciate your thorough responses and for leading me in the right direction. I will make sure to check out those resources! anyway, yes. I am now only taking 300mg of thiamine HCl as it has become too strong. It drops my blood sugar too fast and reintroduces excess unwantrd hunger. Since I am still quite satiated from the meal before. Two weeks ago I took 5-7 grams for about 3 days and over that time span I have reduced the amount of thiamine gradually due to the large drops in blood glucose. I now take about 50mg spread throughout the day. Are you wanting to restore your body's function while simultaneously losing weight? i don't understand. How can you still be "satiated from the meal before" and also be hungry? Satiated is the opposite of Hungry, yes? I might try a different form of magnesium. When my metabolism is better, I have noticed this issue with magnesium. I believe I am retaining it. What is hypermagnesemia? What is hypomagnesemia? Also, last night I reduced the B5 significantly and increased niacinamide and biotin quite significantly to 1g and 45mg respectively. The results were astounding. I felt the best I have ever felt with chronic fatigue syndrome and long covid. I felt normal for the first time in years. By no means near healthy but it was an incredible feeling. The problem with wildly altering dosages of multiple things at once is that it is impossible to tell which did what. I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome about 25 years ago and suffered from it for many years. The symptoms resolved completely via high dose thiamine hcl. (and magnesium, a little riboflavin, a little niacinamide, some progesterone, some pregnenolone, avoidance of all pufa....) I have tried this combo of b3 and b7 not long ago. alongside thiamine ttfd. however I believe the intial megadoses of B1 helped me breakthrough bottlenecks. I also feel that B3 and B7 together are working synergystically. Because I have tried one or the other recently, without the same effects. I also slept 7 hours straight for the first time. I always always pee at night a few times. You were right about B5 I believe. It did make me feel worse. I'm also taking 3mg of folinic acid and 40mg B6 spread throughout the day. And a few minerals in very small doses. like selenium, manganese, molydenum, zinc, coppper. I believe these two are having positive effects. Although I am I need of testing to assess mineral status. You should get your minerals tested so you don't get yourself into trouble. I developed high manganese simply by consuming maple syrup. https://labs.selfdecode.com/blog/manganese-toxicity/ I am taking meticulous notes about everything I consume and feel. Food for thought in case this anecdote would be of interest to you. Sorry, but from where I'm sitting, it appears that you are throwing gobs of stuff at a wall to see what sticks. Get yourself tested to find possible mineral deficiencies/toxicities. My manganese toxicity appeared out of nowhere, and I sure miss that maple syrup....

@latin said in Daily progest-E for 23 yo male safe?: What negative reactions did you have to progest, and why do you think thyroid helped? I would get really cold after only small dosages of progesterone. I think it was killing my stress response but I didn't have enough thyroid to keep my basal metabolic rate high. It may have also been liberating estrogens from my tissues, compounding the problem even more. When I started to successfully implement thyroid I noticed a lot of my symptoms were gradually disappearing, but I would get these acute bursts of adrenaline that were very intense and unpleasurable. I don't exactly know what was causing that. I can only presume it must have been my thyroid and adrenals trying to establish a new equilibrium. I remember Ray saying that sometimes people will be more sensitive to adrenaline when they first start thyroid, but it levels out after you get your dose tailored correctly. When I re-added the progesterone back in, it no longer made me cold. It would blunt the adrenaline response at a sufficient enough dose, and since thyroid will correct estrogen:testosterone ratios, it wasn't causing anymore estrogen symptoms like nipple sensitivity. All I had was what I like to call that "calm serenity" feeling, which can turn into a dopey feeling if you take too much P4, so it's important to get the dose right. Also, this may vary from person to person, but as long as I keep my thyroid dose consistent, I don't need to do P4 daily if I don't want. I'd only do it on a especially stressful day, because once I broke that initial stress cycle thyroid is enough to keep my progesterone levels where they should be. @latin said in Daily progest-E for 23 yo male safe?: What dose were you taking? I take 9-10 drops of progest-e. Roughly 30-35 milligrams. But that's not indicative of what you should be doing necessarily. If you're a man, my motto on P4 is to take whatever minimal dose is effective for the symptoms. For me that's around 30mgs. Which can actually start to be anti-androgenic, but I've notice it can still actually increase my libido at that dose. Weird, but I guess the anti-stress effect outweighs the anti-androgen effect and created a better erection for me. @latin said in Daily progest-E for 23 yo male safe?: I have t3+t4, but don’t know how to properly take it. This can get tricky, lol. First I recommend measuring your temps, before AND after breakfast. Additionally, getting a TSH test will let you know more as well. Anything over 2.5 mU/L is definitely subclinical hypothyroidism. Emphasis on subclinical. Meaning docs won't diagnose you, but you still have the increased disease risk associated with hypothyroidism. If your temps and tsh checks out, then I recommend taking thyroid the Broda Barnes method. Start with 1/2 grain and stay there for 3 weeks before taking more. Then up the dose to 1 grain, stay there for 3 weeks before taking more. Follow that pattern until symptoms subside. I use TyroMix, and I take it by mouth. This is important, because I see a lot of people thinking it's a transdermal product. With something like thyroid, you want to take it orally. Just put 3 drops in a small glass of juice or a empty capsule and take it.
