During communism in Romania, the dictator built industry and warehouses all over the country, even my small town of few thousands had a few. People were living in rural areas working their normal jobs close to home. Now it's the opposite, the West came, all industry destroyed and created new ones only in big cities.
That is a sad story though it's believable. It's a vicious cycle. Entire cities and states in the US are basically destitute because of what happened forty years ago outsourcing automobile and other manufacturing, coal, gas, etc. The USA is technically an incorporated entity; DC, London, and Vatican are autonomous city-states as well and all connected, not to mention Switzerland $$$.
From what I've read Obama took office and race crimes increased a lot, black on black, black and white, etc. He basically created a new "race" agenda in a post-racial culture. There is supposedly a lot of other damage Obama did (really screwed Veterans healthcare/hospital operations; laundered billions to sham foreign "green energy" companies) but I'm not sure it's really unique compared to any other president including Trump of course.

I guess Schapiro thinks open space, autonomy, and "working with nature" are signs of spiritual and physical decay.
Indeed. I checked him out and he is a jew and probably a mason too. It's pretty hard to find one that's pro-autonomy.

The big lies of our time are also the product of cynicism about human nature, not lacking shortsightedness about the failures of human nature.
I am always thinking if I would be in power, how corrupted I would be? I think the more sins you do in your life, the easier is to repeat them. If you got a conflict with your best friend and you lie, next time it would be easier (less remorse) to lie and **the purity of the friendship and your soul **decreases but also for the next one friendships.
If you could get back that purity it would be fantastic, but I hardly know an effective way. Some say by praying. For me works doing good to homeless people, but I had moments when they didn't thank me for giving them a meal, they looked with superiority actually and that demotivated me. Maybe loving animals?
I got a bit off topic haha -

We can't do much unfortunately.

Oh, yeah, just also for the fact that Obama himself is black can create conflict.
You got black, white, Kamala is indian if I remember, now Chinese and you got them all. -
@yerrag In other words, Fina steride met its match in the Donald

Is the ferrous sulfate that is in enriched flour only bad because it is highly absorbable? so that means it would be good for someone with legitimately low iron?
-
All good points. What little we can do is in our power.

@Corngold non productive rural land is huge in Canada. miles and miles of nothing but almost barren hills and fields zoned as "agricultural land reserve" which is at best used for occasional cattle grazing. developers are not allowed to build anything on it except two storey residential house per acerage
-
Exactly. A la the "carbon credit" scam. Also we probably have too much low quality forest today. With chemtrails too, this is a planned toxic environment.

Something that everyone is missing on this thread, I think, unless I missed it… ha! Is that trump is always moving. There is something to being on the road constantly traveling which I have done many times. I don’t mean heading out on one little vacation. I mean next town, next, next go, keep going next. Next meeting, stimulating, always variation.
This is extremely Peatastic. Ray always talked about this, mentally, but trump is truly living it. He doesn’t fallow a script. Peaty. He doesn’t always give the same answers. Peaty. He has leisure in his life. Peaty. He is just screwing around and stumbled into the white house because he’s just playing around with his life. And has apparently his entire life. He lives like a kid. He isn’t trying to make his metabolism like a kids, he is living like a kid. But with an adult mind. I would assume the day trump dies he will have had 5 meetings went to a great dinner party and maybe a boxing match and hit 18 holes of golf. And fired some losers! Ha! Live and let live.
-
@dapose Agreed. There is meaning and purpose. He is driven and that allows his cells and tissues to rally and rearrange to give substance to that will.
-
@dapose Based and true af post.

What do you guys think Trump’s IQ is, approximately?
He doesn’t strike me as particularly intellectual, and there has been criticisms of him saying that he doesn’t have deep knowledge in economics and such. But I might be wrong and that’s just a facade he puts on, to dumb down his message to the wider audience.

Highly variable and context dependant probably.

Politics aside, of course, but he also uses child-like language: simple words repeated ad nauseam: a reflection of the child-like metabolism of eating Mickey D's and flying around on a private jet?

Much higher than yours

Trump doesn't wear glasses, no presbyopia for him , pretty impressive .

Ha! Totally. If you wanted 80,000,000 ~ troubled people to listen to you for thirty seconds, one hour, whatever… what would you say to them? You have a top notch metabolism, and your goal is to get someone’s vote. You’re gonna use common language y’all. You’re gonna say things like, let me be perfectly clear, my opponent is a complete idiot.” “To be honest” “we’re gonna do really great things.” Yay! Clap!
Ray was a genius intellectual. Absolutely. But he was not a salesman because he loathed the idea. DJT is a born salesman. His IQ? He would never take the test and find away to get the teacher fired after making them give him an A in the class. It’s chicken Mcnugget language for sure!
I have no great point really just that, you don’t use a flamboyant cursive font to sell a cheese burger, you use a bold all capital juicy font.
On purpose. His look and language fits his message. Big boss gonna take charge not afraid of little things like French fries and I own the place etc… -

This is why I think he has captivated most of the country (seems he won 2020 but the steal was the covid wakeup plan; if 2024 votes are "correct" than I think it reflects that the opposition was built to favor him). At the same time, Obama captivated many of the same people in 2008. Obama was the opposite in that he was very eloquent and slick. Many people bought him hook line and sinker just like many people buy Trump's old-school left-wing populism.
"America First" was the name of Gerald K. Smith's party he ran on as a presidential bid in 1943 and 1944. He was friends with Huey Long who opposed FDR and was "assassinated" (whether real or hoax, not sure). Wiki and other sources say he was "anti-semitic" and "white supremacist" or whatever.
It reminds me of Trump and David Duke and all of the media narratives since 2016. Very similar, and I think Smith was a controlled opposition just like the KKK - he started the Christian Nationalist Crusade and spoke and wrote about the Jewish Question. Anyways, Trump hasn't done this, because he loves Israel, but the groypers and "paramilitary" supporters are big on the JQ, trad Christianity, and ironic/astroturfed racism, which once again demonstrates that his base is being wrangled in to support something they in theory reject. The same president who loves Hindus, Jews, blacks, Latinos, etc., also has a base of "racist" white people. Either this is a distortion or his followers are in denial of what DJT stands for? I don't know, just my stupid ramblings.

@dapose Donald Trump is one of the most genius salesman/marketing people to have ever lived. He has mastered the art of persuasion to an unbelievable degree. His charm and charisma stats are also maxed out.
It's so funny seeing Demoncrats say Trump sounds stupid and he isn't making sense. They're too fucking stupid to realize the way he communicates is perfect, and they're also too dumb to follow his "weave", where he goes between topics and loops back around.
