RE: blue light blockers
@insufferable safety glasses would work at home, but maybe not outside lol. i also have to use a large screen tablet for my work, if e-ink ones exist i imagine they're even pricier. i'll keep that in mind for the future though, it does sound very appealing.

RE: blue light blockers
@reformedski might opt for a red pair then. i'm an artist and already used to using a screen dimmer messing with my colors, so i'd just have to work with it. but 164 plus international shipping would sting a bit right now.

RE: blue light blockers
@reformedski these look great but definitely a bit out of my immediate price range lol. if i had to get only one pair, which do you think is better?

blue light blockers
been struggling with my sight lately and i think its partially fatigue caused by long screentime and tons of LED lights everywhere. i've been considering getting a pair of blue light blockers.
anyone here wear them, do they make a difference? brand recommendations?

RE: What do you guys know about veins
@Hugh fwiw i only took collinsonia orally, i don't know if it does anything topically. can't hurt to try though.

RE: What do you guys know about veins
i'd be curious to know too. i sometimes get very pronounced veins on my arms, seems totally random. i recall reading it's a hypothyroid symptom.
someone on the old forum said stoneroot extract (collinsonia canadensis) helps deal with spider veins and hemorrhoids. i can confirm it does wonders for the latter at least.

@S-Holmes actually, how does your sinusitus affect you? i'm wondering if i have the same symptom.
LOTS of mucus. Sinuses swollen shut, esp at night when I try to sleep.
ah, i see. i have had that before falling sick as well. what's new for me is sometime after the fever (and especially after taking ivermectin) i've been having a sharp pain between/above my eyes, really noticeable if i massage the spot. i thought it might've been that.
I HAVE had that and forgot! It was just a small area right on my browbone. Very sore, esp when I pushed on or rubbed it. It finally went away.
yeah exact same spot for me too, a sore sharp pain. i had a hunch it's related to my loss of smell and i think it might be messing with my vision too, since i thought it was an eye pain for the longest time... any idea what cleared it up for you?

RE: Is Covid Still A Thing?
@CO3 i guess i must've missed it or forgotten... i'll give that a try.
-
RE: Is Covid Still A Thing?
@CO3 no, i think i've only been drinking whole milk pretty much until it started being an issue. is skim milk preferable?
-
RE: Is Covid Still A Thing?
@CO3 until recently, basically never. but i started eating beef liver a LOT more the past few weeks on a recommendation with the covid issues. i live very inland so no good source of oysters or seafood that isn't rancid. i suppose i should try and find a good source of cacao.
i've also been trying to figure out what's causing digestive issues in my diet as well. suspecting i can't handle coffee or cow milk, both pasteurized and raw, very well anymore. it might be that it's not A2 milk, but i have no replacement. -
RE: Is Covid Still A Thing?
@CO3 yeah i'm unsure then. i have several other symptoms i've had for way longer, like white tongue and acne. i definitely have some sort of intestinal problem and inflammation going on i'm trying to tackle alongside the covid stuff. i also have dark eyecircles and a sweet tooth for chocolate, which i'm guessing is my body wanting copper. so adding that sounds a bit dicey.

RE: Is Covid Still A Thing?
@S-Holmes i have not, honestly not heard about it before.

RE: Is Covid Still A Thing?
@S-Holmes i didn't get tested but i caught a fever around christmas 2022 which probably was covid. it was just a regular fever that knocked me on my ass for a day or two, but i lost my sense of taste and smell completely for 2 weeks, and while it came back, it never recovered fully. i also developed vision problems half a year to a year later which i think are sinus related. the one doctor i saw prescribed nothing remotely useful.
i've tried a few things on my own but nothing's had an effect. if there's any recovery, it's really slow.
