I think thats totally fine. Many people have reported feeling better on a low A diet, although Im not sure how much of that is due to the absence of vitamin A and not the absence of all kinds of other things.

I think its good that people get a feeling for how certains vitamins affect them. As Vitamin A can be anti-thyroid in higher doses, which is not a controversial opinion at all, just as this is not news, but has been said by Peat for decades.

Well that dude (sinatra) probably has the study from this thread here (https://bioenergetic.forum/post/12395) where I posted it a few days before him, it's interesting that he did not post the main study of this very thread or any of the other pro-vitamin A things I posted.
The HED of about 30k IU per day is still realtively high. And i agree that this can make you hypo, which peat has said for decades.
On the other hand the study, which this thread is about (human study, not rat) shows clear benefits in a similar dosage.

I was under the impression that being exposed to sunlight, for extended periods, increases your vitamin A requirements. I was thinking that if the sun is being blocked this might lower need?

yeah I guess so. This stuff is confusing you know. My tests all come back normal for the most part. TSH 0.4 and good T4 and T3 yet I feel a swollen thyroid. Wtf

(a lot of these have anti androgen / dht effects alongside the estrogen lowering , maybe if something is significantly more potent on estrogen effects would outweigh idk, some are neutral but i think the only one ive seen with opposite effect on dht is naringenin (not naringin)

maybe the increased star is trying to balance the lowered AR activation (and increase androgen receptors as theyre being activated less? id like to see if they measured activation in that rat study cant find it , they used low dose not sure what dose was, maybe theres an optimal dose to not get the anti androgen effect but idk if the star effect would happen then)
