@Sippy don’t know much about their progesterone, but I’m curious about their cascara, which is significantly cheaper than saturee, I’m guessing the difference may be their supplier, but I thought all cascara is from the same supplier?

Urine that smells like “soy sauce”?
Just wanted to see if anyone else has had this experience? My urine sometimes smells like a sweet soy sauce, the colour was yellow but not like a deep yellow. I’d say hydration wise I don’t have any other issues that could indicate dehydration.
Does anyone else have this issue? Is there perhaps something about a high consumption of sugar that creates this smell? -
RE: Topical Solutions on scalp for hair regrowth
@Chud interesting, you’re not concerned of the downstream effects of minoxidil?
Unique way to use coke, I’ve read about others getting glucose to the scalp by using a honey mask or making a scalp scrub with sugar, any particular reason you’re using coke? -
RE: Topical Solutions on scalp for hair regrowth
@basednigga2006 have you heard of Ona’s naturals progesterone cream, I was looking at using there 10% cream, they have a 20% as well.

@tea I was thinking about leaving it on overnight and washing it out in the morning? Reckon that should be fine?

RE: Topical Solutions on scalp for hair regrowth
So I’m looking into using a progesterone cream for my scalp, the idea is that when it’s claimed that finasteride works, it’s because of its progesterone like activity, so I figured why not use progesterone instead and avoid the effects of blocking 5-ar. This theoretically can be the primary tool to stop the root cause like finasteride is used, while other methods like growth promoters such as minoxidil can be seen as the secondary tool.
So while I’m at, I’m looking into what can be used as something like minoxidil, where the role is to increase blood flow for oxygen & nutrients to the hair follicles. Minoxidil is considered not good for its increase in nitric oxide, so what would be an alternative for this method? -
RE: Any experiences with DHT supplementation?
@CO2-Maxi nah my foreskin remains intact, the dht cream just made it not look like I had a cold shower.

RE: Any experiences with DHT supplementation?
I’ve tried a DHT cream, applied to my genitals, my pecs to reduce gyro, my navel, and overall I had a positive experience. My mood was elevated, it definitely reduced the gyno look, looked much leaner, longer flaccid length, I definitely rate it’s use but the effects of it pretty much stop not longer after it’s use.
I’ve also tried anavar, which was at at low dose like 10-12mg. And that wasn’t as pleasant, was feeling high blood pressure symptoms. 10mg is supposed to be a low dose for anavar, so I wasn’t expecting much, just wanted to see how my body would go, so I’m not sure how I would go if I was to do the typical dose of 20-25mg.
But yeah i think the topical DHT, which is bioidentical I presume, is the way to go. -
RE: Niacinamide as effective as minoxidil at treating “androgenic” hair loss
I wonder if that combination of Aspirin, Thiamine, Niacinamide, and Biotin, could have great benefit when applied topically. Obviously Biotin is touted as the hair vitamin, and the other substances have been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects.

RE: What are non-Peaty things you still do?
@Mulloch94 would you ever consider taking nitric oxide precursors? I used to take them for pre-workouts, hadn’t noticed for sure if they ever created issues for me or not.

What are non-Peaty things you still do?
Are there still things you do, such as foods you eat, supplements you take, or habits in general, that are considered non-Peaty but are able to justify or you have found that works for you despite the knowledge that it could lead to negative effects?

@Ray-Peat-Fanboy what would that look like food wise, just out of curiosity?

RE: Foamy urine
@PUFADestroyerPPO
My urine is more foamy when I drink alcohol, typically beer. -
What’s the deal with peptides?
I’ve been seeing them pushed all over twitter as the greatest gift known to man, BPC-157, Selank, copper peptides, melanotan, and while I have no doubt that pretty much all of the accounts that I promoting these peptides are getting a cut, but is there any benefit to them?

RE: Modified Walter Kemper diet
@GuantanamO-Shea I was thinking about adding potatoes for the variety, and I don’t find fruit very satiating, perhaps a potato mash with coconut oil.
-
RE: Modified Walter Kemper diet
Forgot to mention that one of the benefits of this diet is the reduction of inflammatory amino acids. Not sure about the reduction of salt, even for short term, feel that any weight loss regimen should involve some amount of sodium.

Modified Walter Kemper diet
Was thinking about giving this a go, a high starch low fat low protein diet for fat loss. The basics involve white rice, fruit and table sugar , i believe there was use of T3 in the diet. I think to modify it I’ll add in potatoes, fat source being a little bit of coconut oil to go with the starch, as well orange juice and coffee, haven’t decided yet if I want to add skim milk or not.
I was thinking about how this diet would work, typically people try to reduce their starch when they try to lose weight, is it mostly the reduced fat that makes the weight loss easier?
Has anyone else done something similar? -
Simple at home solutions to fix a humpback?
Friend is getting a humpback from poor posture, tell him to not lean over when he looks at his phone. Any tools and methods that would work to fix it?

RE: Most bioenergetic country to move to
You can choose the live anywhere and live a Peaty lifestyle despite the limits that you may perceive.
I used to believe that urban centres with dense populations, multiethnic people, and other general unpleasantries were horrible, but I tried the more quieter suburban places and they are horrible in their own ways, I actually prefer the energy of cities, and since moving back to city I feel this cloud I had over my head dissipate from living in the suburbs.
I guess for you it’s just simply about perceiving thinking and acting, don’t let preconceived notions of what you think might be Peaty decide where you ought to live. -
RE: Dry mouth and bad breath
@LinDaiyu I’m trying penicillin but it’s branded for fish, so it’s quality is probably questionable, I haven’t really felt much change from it.
