@NNight there is to keto advocates

RE: Low free testosterone
@Conundrum How long have you been incorporating the bioenergetic efforts? In my experience, it can easily take a year or more to heal the liver with the best methods like t3, aspirin, niacinamide, red light, lowish fat, pufa elimination, juices, etc. As metabolic rate improves, adding higher vitamin A consumption will help. in the mean time I'd not be worried about it if you are doing all these things.
Meanwhile, symptom relief via things like prog/dhea/vit E/aspirin could be helpful if you're not already doing those things.

RE: High Metabolism Keto possible?
Notice how when someone with a healthy metabolism eats high animal fat, low protein/carb, they are proving a keto diet to be pro-metabolic, but when someone with a poor metabolism does the same, they are a glutton? Thus the keto advocates implicate CICO, negating their sophisticated theories surrounding "type of calorie (aka sugar vs fat)" over CICO.

RE: Is bodybuilding bad?
based.
The truth is that honestly, a man with broad shoulders, long arms and square face, is more attractive to a girl than bubbles. muscles from a high androgenic development is also great, but the above description is more aesthetically pleasing than stacking bubbles like conventional body building does.

RE: High Metabolism Keto possible?
I was super hot the first few months on keto carnivore (lots of dairy fat and clabbered milk), and I'm sure my pulse was up (but didn't check). it's been established (so I thought) that adrenaline can compensate convincingly for a while to maintain metabolic rate.

RE: Apology
Correct, regarding bioenergetics... Running off normies with inflammatory language that does nothing to improve discussions relating to bioenergetics, isn't bioenergetics.
Honestly this convo need go no further than asking the hypothetical question, "what would any of the scientists/Ray Peat (the folks who developed the concepts this forum exists for), have to say about the deconstruction of high thought, with culture war inflammatory talk?" and if they banned inflammatory language, no one would complain and the ability to vigorously debate the topic would still be possible...
look, I don't think youtube or twitter should ban people for saying the "n-word," they are sold to the public on the auspices of total free speech where a word no matter how bad, can be argued over. If they were institutions for discussing a specific topic, like this forum, then freedom to speak inflammatory words is not germane to that specific topic -- only the right to disagree with said topic ought to be held in high regard, and this maintains the functional value of free speech (disagreement), without obvious emotional derailments, thus maintaining a professional environment.

RE: Apology
The proverbial longhouse means running a society on feminine methods of advancement and social cohesion.
An honor society would crush your skull in for disrespecting it's members.
learn the difference.
The honorary and the sacred have been staple virtues of the most patriarchal societies for thousands of years.

RE: Apology
@The-New-Sun You either don't have a well adjusted life full of women and children (where you call everyone nigger and look for jews behind every bush), or you live another life online.

RE: Apology
@T-3 I used to think like that, but I became compelled by the state of entropy yielding lower quality outcomes — and determined instead, that one must rely on a first principle of incredibly sacrificial discipline, to yield anything sustainable and worth while.
Good ideas need to Win. they don’t do so adhearing to libertarian principles — I’ve yet to see a libertarian president. Their current strategy is 150 years of education to fellow nerds about the advantages of libertarianism, lol.

RE: Help me in the next chapter of healing. Thyroid.
So sorry @Starcrossed
I need everyone's opinion to finally heal. I wanted to start a new chapter tomorrow. I have posted about my heavy profuse menstrual bleeding for 6 years none stop every minute. I was at deaths door. Every doctor tried to kill me with their methods… acupuncturist…naturopath…
The hem of His garment 🥲
I've always been cold to the core since then. During my benzo withdrawal days I had to sleep with a heater under my blanket. A literal heater and was still cold to the core. I've had adrenaline/high cortisol issues ever since.
Coffee with well balanced meals and hefty dose of salt seem to heat up a lot of people (myself and family included). Think whatever pleasurable dose of fat/protein/carb that accompanies traditional comfort food. Maybe lower protein, with Great Lakes gelatin supplemented.
I eventually stopped acupuncture last year and this year I slowly started Progesterone powder and worked my way up to a high dose. 6000mg.
I would consider mixing it with a good vit E source, like tocovit. Ray’s progest-e invention served a few purposes… one big purpose was to reduce aromatization of progesterone into estrogen. I would consider that a big risk when supplementing any progesterone, especially that amount.
…liver… Which now brings me to my thyroid. I'm about to try T3 from Idealabs but a little apprehensive since I'm still spotting. My high hopes is that it will stop the bleeding and give me the T3 my body so craves. But I don't know enough about this. So this is where I need more guidance.
T3 is great for healing the liver. Also consider pointing red light on the liver. I believe I noticed improvement faster when I added that.
My morning armpit temps are 96 degrees but oral readings are 98 to 99. I believe my heart rate is around 82, which seems normal but I'm afraid of T3 making it worse.
Unfortunately I’m not a labs pro, so hopefully someone else chimes in, but I recall from my own cessions with Danny and my own research from fixing my probs, that high morning temps can often be a sign of high adrenaline (same with blood pressure) — your body is all over the place in the morning, which is consistent with screwed up metabolism (adrenaline compensating where it can). T4 can specifically lower adrenaline. Also try upping salt.
I made a lot of thyroid med mistakes before my cession with Danny. First of all I learned a lot of my digestive issues were coming from liquid thyroid supps that were in ethanol. If you take it with food it’s not a problem for some… but if you’re very sensitive like me it definitely was still a problem.
At Danny’s suggestion I hopped over to cynoplus + cynomel, and haven’t looked back.
Definitely take with meals, and lunch and dinner should often be a specific t3/t4 mix. Consult Danny’s vids on that, and I suggest a proper consultation.
Anything to start binding to estrogen and bacterial overgrowths in your digestive tract — if tolerated, carrot salad — If not, try oat bran. If constipated, try cascara sagrada.
Another really helpful one has been well-boiled mushrooms (create air circulation and blow the steam out of a window, hah).Blessings.

RE: Its been 3 weeks now since I started to eat ultra low PUFA
@Ray-Peat-Fanboy :DD hear ya.
You'd be surprised, if you found a liver source that is immediately frozen, it's actually not bad. It turns out that sitting in a counter or thawing a few times before cooking, really gives it the gross taste people associate with liver (this is how my mom and sister are able to eat liver -- for whom it was an absolute no go due to prior experience. I hear lamb's liver doesn't even taste like liver -- maybe worth a shot.

OP if you include liver, oysters, and marmalade weekly, I’m sure you’ll keep all your nutrient requirements ok
