RE: Share positive experiences with eating liver
@yerrag would you say you substantially increased viewing distance since your introduction of Peaty foods?

RE: Reversal of hair loss in Mice with “sugar gel”
@OliverCloasov I Haven't really checked. I'll let you know, but IDK if there will be much improvement on that front, as I've done scalp massages and used decalcifying substances on my scalp for a while now: t3, sodium thiosulfate in DMSO, scalp massages, and red light. I like the idea that the missing component was actual fuel reaching the target area (all stimulators and no fuel to produce ATP and youth hormones).
But, I suppose as bloodflow increases, tissue density should also increase? ...maybe increased elasticity is a thing to look for nevertheless. -
RE: How to gain 5kg/11lbs in one month in a peaty way as an ectomorph?
@Peater0921 said in How to gain 5kg/11lbs in one month in a peaty way as an ectomorph?:
@LetTheRedeemed This is definitely true, focusing my meals on things I actually enjoy and that are also calorically & nutrient-dense has been a big help
It’s wild, I can consume a gelatin rich tasty meal around both lunch time and dinner, but if I don’t have time to cook and just take gelatin in OJ, it doesn’t give me the same sleep benefits.
Ray talked about the importance of making tasty food for the improved digestive enzymes — and its impact on health.Yea, I tried NDT for a while, and its problems are real (I even tried a liquid thyroid from a vendor we all know and love lol — I still use him for other things but no longer the thyroid).
I finally did a consultation with Danny Roddy and using cynoplus/cynomel has made a real difference after a year.
Now, I think healthy people should FREELY include NDT, like was done in traditional diets the world over.

They should add IQ tests if they’re serious

@S-Holmes I wish they worked lol

RE: Reversal of hair loss in Mice with “sugar gel”
Applying my gel has kept my scalp warm to the touch (without it my scalp is cool).
My gel consists of coconut-glycerine; d-ribose; oxidal (MB/aspirin/caffeine); urea.
I just added dextrose.

RE: 22 year old wondering if it’s low thyroid
@dellamo I really strongly suggest an appointment with Danny Roddy or Jay Feldman — getting on cynomel / cynoplus will be a good goal.
In the meantime, one thing you can get to working on now for being eligible to get on thyroid, is elevating cholesterol — get that tested when you can.
If needed, OJ, other sources of sugar, and dairy, will help cholesterol go up.

RE: Glucose loading cures everything?
FYI, I played with caffeine pills for a while and can confirm the experiences of others, that coffee has a more pronounced caffeine effect than pure caffeine alone.

RE: Glucose loading cures everything?
@S-Holmes Pretty Peaty solution. I've done that with caffeine too, the last several years

RE: How to gain 5kg/11lbs in one month in a peaty way as an ectomorph?
@RawGoatMilk88 It will add calories, yes.
Maybe OP needs to clarify if he's trying to describe pathologically underweight, or just wants to put on muscle.
Ray was under-weight no matter how much he was consuming -- it took thyroid supplementation to lower the adrenaline in the liver to slow down uncoupling and energy wasting.

RE: How to gain 5kg/11lbs in one month in a peaty way as an ectomorph?
@RawGoatMilk88 that’ll only work when you’re hypothyroid.

RE: Reintroduced Wheat - Confused With Results
Maybe just finding a pizza source that’s not got added vegetable oil (the fast food pizza I’m aware of is terrible).
If you really want to heal the gut: aspirin + glycine, gut cleaners like carrot salad, vitamin K (idealabs), a B complex (eonutrition), thiamine (eonutrition).

RE: How to gain 5kg/11lbs in one month in a peaty way as an ectomorph?
To gain weight, eat more balanced meals with increased palatability — you’ll be surprised at how much you can eat when you really enjoy something.
Think meat and potatoes dishes with dairy.

@Kilgore ironically the more icecream I eat the leaner I get. Not that I’m loosing weight weekly like it’s a weight loss plan on its own… but when Kroger stopped carrying turkeyhill I stopped eating icecream to the tune of like 3 pints, and then I gained 5 lbs lol. When I reintroduced icecream I dropped it.

RE: I have proof of dozens of guys regrowing from "it's over" levels of bald with high pufa diets and pro-nitric oxide things
Also, explain where and how Hans Amato has left the Peaty paradigm. There has been disagreement within the bioenergetic sphere of how impactful CICO is to sustained weightloss. he practices CICO to yield results. Peat himself supported CICO so this is no problem. That’s the only Significant diversion I know of

RE: I have proof of dozens of guys regrowing from "it's over" levels of bald with high pufa diets and pro-nitric oxide things
Castrated men don't go bald. You know what you gotta do now OP...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pattern_hair_lossI was raised on a high pufa standard healthy diet (chicken for protein/low saturated fat/complex carbs/veggies). I was suffering immense hairloss into my twenties and suffer MPB. Where's my success story, op??
This has been explained ad nauseum by Peat and Danny, so I don't blame Danny blocking you. I'll answer once then block you myself for your anti-curiosity, anti-masculine, vigorless copium:
Estrogen is an anti-inflammatory stress hormone: it increases local water retention. This increases local bloodflow and possibly decalcification. It's what happens in the long term -- which is what happened to me, and most others. Many people on mainstream estrogenic protocols experience a reversal of results after a year or more. If you already have an excellent metabolism, I'm sure you can resist a lot of stressors and chronic estrogen application. I don't believe I ever heard Danny or Ray say the estrogenic process doesn't yield hair growth, but that long term they are toxic and don't fix the underlying condition. Chronically elevated estrogen WILL lower metabolism, and with it temperature and bloodflow in various tissues in the body.
In, I believe minoxidil, one of the metabolites is actually functionally like epitestosterone (same as spironolactone) -- something the body wants to convert testosterone to, in hair follicle locations, but what the impaired metabolism blocks. In this case it's not actually the function of estrogen.
Courtesy of Elephanto on RPF:
"An high IGF1/IGFBP-3 ratio is predictive of baldness. Estrogen increases IGF-1 and inhibits IGFBP-3.
Increasing IGF-1 by a single standard deviation increases balding risks by 31%. Increasing IGFBP-3 by a single standard deviation decreases balding risks by 38%.

The cascade often starts before Estrogen. Endotoxins and/or Serotonin promote chronically high Cortisol which promotes Estrogen synthesis. Cortisol promotes DHT. DHEA-S which is significantly higher in balding men is a marker of stress. Inflammatory cytokines and prostaglandins also induce aromatase expression and estrogen synthesis.

RE: Cynomel from Mexico
@foxgelb Makes no sense to me either, just reporting the news.
I'm guessing illegitimate operations (apparently it's too easy to create a pharmacy in Mexico), then substances from suppliers who offer something that will provide some feeling that's far cheaper than an actual lab compound like t3/t4 (say they wanted to scam you with something that gives some excitatory effects but diluted enough to not attempt to harm you).
