Also the cortisol thing Peat was talking about was after meals, not after thyroid supplementation. If your temps drop after a meal, then it's a sign the glucocorticoids were keeping your temperature elevated. Both high AND low cortisol can prevent thyroid hormone from working correctly.

But...a lot of people severely overestimate low cortisol, it's not common despite seeing several threads about it on RPF. I don't mean to be crass, but whenever someone starts with "adrenal fatigue" you can pretty much discount everything they say for the rest of the post. Platt's hypothesis of adrenaline dominance seems far more likely. The most common cause of REAL low cortisol is Addison's disease.

You might need some magnesium. Magnesium needs thyroid and thyroid needs magnesium. They both need each other to work efficiently. And it just so happens hypothyroidism depletes magnesium.

Something like soaking in a bathtub with epson salt, or Ancient Minerals' magnesium oil would be really good sources of magnesium. Haidut's magoil is also good if you don't mind the DMSO. All the oral options are bunk in my opinion.

@pannacottas I'm not aware of any vendors that sell esterified DHT. Normal DHT is quite unpopular among seasoned gear users anyway. Most just prefer pinning mast-P, which is better suited to their needs. If you're looking for esterified DHT then mast-P is probably going to be your best bet.

I've had good results with DHT but my preference is just to use topical testosterone. It's also what I would recommend for most other males as well, as it can reliably increase DHT without adversely effecting T/DHT ratio.

Men 50 and over would be the exception, as there's a good RCT conducted in France that shows non-aromatizable androgens are best for aging males when doing HRT.

Everybody has their own experiences when eating out at restaurants or fast food. But I frequently find breads to be one of those most problematic foodstuffs. Probably one of the few things I actually agree with low carbers about, albeit for vastly different reasons. Seed oils, soy, some even have cancer agents in them like azodicarbonamide. Most have baking powder as well, which typically has heavy-metals and added phosphates to it. And even if you find one without all that it is still probably fortified with iron. Fortunately bread alternatives are quite prevalent. My mother loves Subway, so whenever she wants a sandwich from there I can get their breadless bowls. With burgers it's as simple as wrapping them in lettuce instead of bread, very tasty. Pizza can be difficult, finding a local pizzeria that makes their dough fresh would be the best option. I've also had cauliflower crusts that taste pretty good.

@basebolt Perhaps, but I would get your thyroid checked. The most powerful anti-inflammatory is CO2 and low thyroid will cause low CO2. Carbon dioxide will also shift the metabolism from reduction to oxidation, increasing NAD. CO2 is also anti-adrenaline and anti-serotonin, and can "kill" the overly charged sympathetic nervous system. The "sympathetic" response is quite literally the disease state.

If raising NAD levels is your main goal then I wouldn't use the nicotonic acid version of B3 because the flushing is going to be a significant roadblock to you getting a therapeutic dose. NA is better for raising histamine and lowering methylation.

I think nicotinamide (niacinamide), or nicotinamide riboside, is the best oral version of B3 to raise NAD levels. (R) It seems to work well in pretty much every human study I've seen. But, I suppose the IV solution has a level of intensity that can't be matched with oral alternatives.

I am a drug addict. Been clean for 8 years. Had a really close friend from high-school who was also a drug addict...he died. I think I got a pretty good idea what they go through having first hand experience. But I was never a crackhead, lmao. I have a particular flavor for all types of comedy, that includes black/dark comedy. This is MY shitpost thread, if you don't like it bugger off!

I don't think I'm a psychopath, although I did have a psychiatrist tell me one time (at a behavioral center for troubled teens) that I don't "empathize well with others." Had a rough patch when I was 16...don't we all in some form or another? Or perhaps you were a choir boy, I digress. I couldn't really say about the temperature flashes. That's ambiguous and could mean literally a hundred different things. Maybe you're sick, maybe it's hormonal, perhaps a side effect of something you took, etc.

Vitamin D is good for the your immunity, are you running fever? An aspirin before bed can lower stress hormones like cortisol and estrogen which adversely effect body temperature. Those would be the areas I investigate first.

If I drink it's going to be bourbon. A glass of whisky has more antioxidants than red wine. So drinking in moderation is probably not harmful. I don't really know what an "appropriate" amount would be. Too much can cause intestinal permeability and endotoxin side effects. Likely one of the mechanism behind it's liver toxic effects. But when you say "social drinking" I'm thinking in my head you mean like Friday/Saturday night drinking with friends. Probably not doing too much damage as long as you're having only 1 or 2 drinks. If you're getting shitfaced that might be another story, lol. I would think daily drinking, even in small amounts, might eventually cause intestinal issues as well.

@BeamsOfEnergy Such's P4 was/is probably bunk. Or maybe you didn't mix enough in your vitamin E to rival the concentration of progest-e. Progest-E is 10% I think, which is kind of high when you compare it to a lot of the topical creams on the market.

@Santosh What's the significance of knowing them personally? Last time I checked there isn't some grand conspiracy against trenbolone. It's a substance that serves a particular purpose, and like anything, can have adverse reactions. Also 3 two week cycles isn't that much. I'm sure most people can get away with that before it becomes a huge issue. The typical tren cycle is like 10-12 weeks.

Also you're acting like the only knock on tren thus far is personal anecdotes on forums. We know from research it can elevate prolactin and downregulate serotonin autoreceptors (which isn't good). This supports some of the notable cardio effects users talk about on those forums, like tachycardia and, in extreme cases, heart failure.

I can only speak from my personal experience, but Katherine's Progest-E...the REAL Progest-E, is the only progesterone supplement on the market I trust. Which is why I took Danny's side in that whole Mercola fiasco about Progest-E. I'm not saying there isn't other good products out there, I'm sure Health Natura and Haidut make excellent progesterone products, but from my perspective, why change things up when it's already working. Also I wouldn't trust ANYTHING by SuchLabs after figuring out Charlie is involved with them.

That's borderline. I think it's still technically "in the reference" because the bottom end is 30 nmol/L for most standard tests, but for me it would be too close for comfort.

If it were me, I would probably do 10,000 units daily for a couple weeks then reduce it to 5,000 units daily for maintenance. Check yourself again in about 12 weeks to reevaluate your situation.

@scamp Anywhere from a few weeks to a couple months. Really depends on how low you are, so you need to know where you stand first. Some people can respond well to treatment, and others will have the hardest time making their blood levels budge. I've seen a common trend that people report when a doctor prescribes them vitamin D for a clinical deficiency it's usually 50,000IU twice a week for several months.

It isn't really. What you're looking for is naringin and hesperidin. Only trace amounts are in the juice, what you want is the peeling. Make some marmalade.

@Crypt-Keeper Sounds interesting, I guess your boy is a lucky one. To only get a higher BP and nothing else is a modest reaction to be honest. Some people literally go crazy on the shit. Aggression, anxiety, insomina, even lactation. It's the most neurotoxin steroid out of all the anabolics. Of course, one can't deny the physical results people get from it. I however don't understand this logic of a solo tren cycle. People far more knowledgeable than I on the steroid topic has said a tren cycle should always be accompanied with test. That is if you want your dick to continue to work, lol.
