RE: How to tell the difference between hyperthyroid and high adrenaline?
Adrenaline tends to restrict blood flow to extremities, and shuts off cholinergic processes of the body like digestion, saliva excretion ect. Thyroid does not stimulate cholinergic or adrenergic directly, and should promote a healthy quieting and regulation of both sides of the autonomic nervous system. Thyroid should also decrease the temperature difference between the core and the extremities.
However, there are circumstances where increasing the level of T3 in the blood will indirectly increase sympathetic nervous tone. For example, if someone has been in a hypothyroid state for a long time, they can have a chronically elevated level of adrenaline to compensate. And supplementing even extremely small amounts of T3 can suddenly sensitise their cells to the excess adrenaline in their system - and they can have an adrenergic response.

RE: Pine Pollen Tincture Experience?
@Mr-X I don't have any experience with Gonadin. I would just carefully watch the effects of the tincture, a blood test would be useful to confirm any changes.

RE: Pine Pollen Tincture Experience?
@Mr-X I quite liked it when I tried it. I haven't yet experimented with pure testosterone base, but the tincture had the effects I associate with testosterone. More unstable than DHT though, so I would be concerned with aromatisation. I might harvest some more pollen this spring to try it again. It's one of my favourite scents.

RE: Peaty Liquorice?
@gugenmungus I ate so much liquorice one Christmas I had fuzzy vision for 2 days mmmmmmmm

RE: Orange juice causes white tongue, how do I destroy the Candida within me with absolute prejudice and malice?
@Seam if it’s too acidic it could be disturbing the natural pH of your saliva, leading to proliferation of certain bacteria. Have you tried rinsing with sodium bicarbonate after drinking, to neutralise acidity?

RE: Anyone know what typically causes gum inflammation / remedies
@skylark 2% licodaine hcl or 3% mepivacaine hcl can be used topically in gums for quick relief

Vitamin K2 can improve antiseptic quality of saliva :))

Please explain how Pottenger's cats support the theory of genetic determinism. Have you read Generative Energy by Ray Peat, or any of his articles on genes and biological inheritance?

RE: Laziness and studying from a bioenergetic view
@PissBoy It's about restricting the activation of the cholinergic system by protecting yourself against patterns of learned helplessness. You could try and visualise sodomising your school's faculty. Ray and Georgi talked about this.

RE: A Bioenergetic View of Bioenergetics and Forum Structure
I agree with OP. Higher information flow -> higher structural complexity. It's just the bioenergetic thing to do.
Also how do I get to the Black Lodge subsection? I followed all the instructions but when I open my eyes I'm still in the phenomenal world.

RE: Rate my slop
@skylark I didn't have salt and I think a contrast of texture, which acts to produce a varied, non-linear force on the periodontal ligaments helps to stimulate the digestive secretions.
"Chewing of foods stimulates the receptors in the periodontal ligament (Scott et al. 1998) sandwiched between the tooth and the alveolar process of the jaw bone, although interestingly these are not stimulated by empty chewing, i.e., teeth grinding (Anderson et al. 1996)."

RE: Laziness and studying from a bioenergetic view
I just drilled a massive whiteboard to my bedroom wall and it completely changes the way I feel about studying and I find I can approach problems from a different perspective than I can at a desk. Unless you’re at studying at Blake College, you’re gonna have to study stuff you don’t care for. Just build the habit of enjoying maximising academic performance and treat it as a game.

RE: White tongue
You already mentioned this, but it's interesting how drinking excess water dries the mouth.
Water is a Newtonian fluid because the viscosity doesn’t change with increasing shear. In contrast, saliva, despite being composed of 99% water, is described as a non-Newtonian fluid because the viscosity decreases with increasing shear. In practice, this allows saliva to be easily spread on the oral surfaces as well as to be retained and not easily washed off oral surfaces. This is an important function for saliva because the oral mucosal surfaces are the main site for the interaction with the microorganisms in the mouth (Dewhirst et al. 2010). The highest shear rates in the mouth occur during eating and swallowing. These high shear rates aid in maintaining a constant flow of saliva from where it enters the mouth (ductal openings) to the back of the throat (for swallowing). The constant movement of saliva is important for the removal of bacteria, the pH buffering of saliva, and oral health generally.

RE: White tongue
Vitamin K2 is important for the oral microbiota, probably due to its effect on saliva pH. This is why it's also important for the dental health.
"It is not presently known how saliva is connected to K2, but it has been associated with increased inorganic phosphate, the buffering agent, which leads to decreasing counts of lactobacillus acidophilus⁵. This would be indicative of an increasing pH or less acid saliva since lactobacillus thrive at lower pH levels"
