Is this the No True Scotsman argument but high CO2?
Dandruff or scalp irritation? Try BLOO.

This is a shame. I enjoyed my conversations with you and @Jam on the iodine threads.
I think I'm OK posting in both places as I'm happy to give a generalised Low A approach a go...no different to how I gave SSKI a go...
I'm not looking for a Great Wise Old Sage to shape my life, but I am happy to run with thoughts that interest me.
@ZeroTron said in Whats the deal with "Vitamin" A?:
Seen some evidence that vitamin A and iodine are synergistic. More A consumption = more Iodine needed. Iodine suppresses the thyroid when you have insufficient A but if sufficient A exists iodine actually causes more thyroid activity.
Anecdotally, this seems to be true.
This is interesting with liver being high in selenium, an iodine co-factor. But Ray didn't like iodine supplementation. Personally I've used it and seemed to do OK. It didn't blow my thyroid up.
I mentioned this on RPF. I've used it, my hair feels great with it applied. It's more about maintaining a decent head of hair for me, but I saw some pics with improvements.
It's just buffered niacin.

@Barghest @TheRealPeater there might be some more on Miles M if you search the Darkside chat, I remember seeing something about the fallout between him and Josh a while back. I just know his story sounds fake as hell... he’s a broke artist, supposedly makes a living from people commissioning his paintings, and then somehow has time to research and write multiple 20 page documents per week on every hoax throughout history and all the genealogy.
Here’s Josh claiming Grant Genereux is the “Miles Mathis of nutrition” https://cuttingthroughthefogcom.wordpress.com/2018/05/08/defending-miles-mathis/comment-page-19/#comment-11534
Thanks I will read that later!

At least he's honest.
Good day Peater. I wonder how long before "rationalwiki" create a page for bioenergetic.forum
Good day ThinPicking! It will be a badge of honour when the eternal midwit emporium does decide to do a write up...
@ilovethesea said in New "Mission" of RPF:
@TheRealPeater Well my first gut feel that he was fake was the sheer volume of content produced, it’s just not possible for one person... likely a committee. But if you look up Darkside papers telegram he has a paper on Miles which highlights some other inconsistencies.
Thanks I will have a look.

innocent Garrett healing righteous Christians with his miraculous discoveries.
Am I the only one that just read about it, thought about it, concluded "Yeah...I have been smashing the Vit A for years and feeling a bit bad, I'll just cut out liver for a while and see what happens. I can always add it back in,"
I never expected all these turns of events...

Miles Mathis, who is a higher level controlled opposition
What makes you say this? (I am curious, not looking for an argumet)

@TheSir said in New "Mission" of RPF:
The most fundamental function of Christianity is to offer a permanent solution to a person who has actually tried their best to be good, and, like anyone who has attempted to be good, been unable to satisfy the uncompromosing standards of the law that is their own conscience. In other words, Christ gives an exit strategy to the person who wants to be moral yet is trapped in a vessel of immorality. Thus in general, an inability to fathom the need for Christ reveals a person who has never truly tried to be good.
I have no idea if you are 'correct', Biblically speaking, but that was a beautiful sentiment.
FWIW. I don't hold with the idea of the Christ within. It's New Age naval-gazing nonsense IMO.

Has this guy always been a complete loon or is there a possibility of outside interference? Perhaps some of the older RPF members who were somewhat closer to the 'lion' would care to speculate. As an outsider, it seems that his behaviour has changed radically in the past months.
Without judging one way or another I can say until recently it was one of the most stable, constant forums I ever visited.

What sort of dose are you on these days Jam? We had some good posts in the iodine threads.
Same old 3 drops of SSKI which equates to roughly 150mg of KI.
Yeah was some great info was posted about iodine, especially from Travis.
Sounds like it's still working for you, I dropped the iodine/iodide while I tried NDT and some other supps to see if it helped another issue I was having. (I think it is very strongly suspected but not clinically confirmed excess B6)
I should get back on it.
@Not_James_Bond
I have been slacking on that recently...I used to take it daily when I was trying iodine/iodide. Thanks.

Yessir, it is the only substance/supplement I take these days.

@CO3 said in Copper Toxicity:
@TheRealPeater Yeah this guy 'Ray Peat' wrote about it and it's also a very mainstream thing. High copper causes issue, it's hard to really overdo, especially since a healthy body manages these things, but it can definitely happen.
Copper is the main thing a lot of fungi feed on, and when i wore my copper chain for a few months i got a fungus on my fingernail for the first time ever.
I thought they used copper spray of some sort as an anti-fungal agent on some crops...weird.
@Not_James_Bond Thanks. I have stopped liver for now as I do think I was overdoing it, or at least, not using the vitamin A I was taking in. (Liver also being high in copper, although it's been a long time since I had lamb liver. Mainly chicken livers recently)
That's not to say I wouldn't eat it again if I got a craving, or symptoms of some type.
I was struggling to sleep last night and I had some blackstrap molasses and drifted off to a pleasant sleep. I have been supplementing zinc sporadically and 1 drop of molybdenum more regularly.
This is another hot topic on the anti-toxin lifestyle...anyone have any experiences or thoughts?
@mostlylurking
Did you find B5 increased cortisol?
