@Peatful Could you please explain how you incorporated high quantities of sucrose into your diet? Thanks

RE: Glucose loading cures everything?
@Jaffe said in Glucose loading cures everything?:
It’s odd nobody considered dextrose years ago instead of blowing themselves up on table sugar.
I think because Ray said that you should never take glucose without some fructose (was it because of the insulin spike? I cannot remember), so Ray advocated that sugar could be therapeutic but has never, as far as I know, advocated for using just dextrose/glucose. May somebody correct if I'm wrong about this.

RE: Charlie hatin Dairy was a trend prior to anti-VA fad
I think it really depends on the dairy that you buy. If it is fortified with vitamins, A1, ultrahomogenised, etc etc then even some very healthy people may have digestive issues with it.

RE: GR7 and reversing gray hair SUCCESS!
@evan-hinkle yeah, I'm not sure how it works, but I just know it is not a permanent solution, unfortunately.

RE: How much Gelatin should you eat everyday?
if you have a sulfite sensitivity, then you should avoid gelatin completely.

RE: GR7 and reversing gray hair SUCCESS!
@evan-hinkle as far as I know, the product colours the hair from the inside...so, unless you somehow correct your hypothyroid condition somehow else, after 7 days, the colour will either slowly fade or the new growth will be grey as before (since I don't use that product I cannot speak of it from personal experience). Therefore, this is not a cure for grey hair, just a cover-up.

RE: GR7 and reversing gray hair SUCCESS!
I think you should mention though that you will have to use this product for life because once you stop using it, the grey will be back.

RE: Bioenergetic Germany
@Luke doesn't it also have Glukosesyrup in it? I thought that was a no-no too

RE: Countries with most bald men in the world
I think that map is bogus...most men in Italy have great hair.

RE: Estrogenic effects from t3 and progesterone
@pineapple from what I have read in the literature, if you have a calcium deficiency, progesterone can cause undesirable effects such as estrogen dominance
-
RE: Estrogenic effects from t3 and progesterone
@pineapple I think you should narrow it down if it was the t3 OR the progesterone. It's very unlikely that both caused the same thing.

RE: Niacin Was, Is, and Always will be Essential to Life and the Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease, Just for Starters
@Mulloch94 So, are you saying that those overmethylaros should not be taking methyl-donor substances, such as TMG, along with the nicotinic acid?

RE: Is Corn Good or Bad?
@questforhealth milk makes pigs sick? Did you mean pasteurized milk?

RE: BIOHACKING by Nathan Hatch, "F*** Portion Control"
@evan-hinkle but if you are able to hover over his profile picture and you get a "last seen" status, then he is still on the forum....(which you can in his case)
-
RE: BIOHACKING by Nathan Hatch, "F*** Portion Control"
@evan-hinkle I don't believe that Nathan was ever banned...

RE: I have been banned on the RPF for posting this study on Vitamin A...
@Mauritio don't worry, the same happened to me when I wrote something about beta carotene, not even criticising this so-called low vit a diet. It is really ashame I wanted to update on some things on some older threads...their loss

RE: Vitamin A quotes from Ray's favorite physiology book
@Mauritio Charlie would counteract with some religious hum bug about vitamin A toxicity. I really think that he does not understand physiology, yet science alone

RE: A list of members banned from the Ray Peat Forum
The admin of the RPforum seems to be a low life, banning anybody opposing his crazy views. Probably has no education in food science, nutrition, etc.
