    @DavidPS Thanks. He asked me for guidance. He took me to see the biochemist. I had no title, could not convince him to take more importance iny reasoning and my approach as bases on Peat bioenergetics principles. He took the fork where most take- following an expert. But 99% people cannot get rid of their blind spots. If we could be open to learn and save ourselves, just like you and I can, why couldn't he, especially when his own life is at stake? I think it's because most people are trained to not 'micromanage,' and to leave it to 'experts.' There is this notion that we should always delegate and outsource to those who are more more experienced. But the reality these 'experts' have s poor track record, but despite that it is folly for most people to take the alternative with an uncertain outcome, even though unproven also means it's not been proven to fail.

    I wanted to resolve my mostly mental problems (depression, OCD, low energy, mania) without going through the fradulent loop-de-loop of therapy and psychiatric drugs. Did "carnivore", read Chris Palmer's great book Brain Energy which I still recommend, then twitter took me from Vonderplanitz to Ray Peat. Kind of kaleidoscopic. I'm glad to be where I am now.

    Death comes for everyone, but the Bible is clear that it is appointed for man to die once, and then comes the judgment (Hebrews 9:27-28). I don't fear death because I know Christ imputed His righteousness on me and His blood has cleansed me of my sin. There is a second death the Bible talks about (Revelation 20:14-15), and it's for those who reject Christ's free gift of salvation, the forgiveness of sins, which leads to eternal life. This second death is eternal separation from God. If you don't want to fear death anymore, and want to have your sins forgiven, submit your life to Christ!     Have you read the Sun Eater series by Christopher Ruocchio? Made we wonder about our place in the universe and the host of unknowns in it, even if you dont believe in space as it is portrayed in our society. The main character has some strong hero characteristics but also some anti-heroism. You want the main to succeed but he doesnt always and if he does there's always a doom element in it, yet he never gives up on his beliefs and his pursuit of the truth about himself and the universe (not in a boho hippie way). If you like antihero dark epic fantasy then maybe The Broken Empire trilogy by Mark Lawrence is your thing. It's been a long time since I've read it but I remember the main character being strongly anti-hero with an interestingly dark mind. Also some gore. Should read it again soon

    @Rah1woot I think it may be possible to evolve into being highly intelligent by being competitive if the person has been wired to find solutions motivated by his fight of flight response This kind of intelligence will make give you a substantial advantage to other peers but most of the time you will lack other qualities like social intelligence and novelty seeking motivation other than the drive for knowledge Being a complete healthy free spirit and intelligent individual that follows any kind of novelty should be the target, and it is possible I believe only through cooperation between peers. But I can't see it being cooperative as a form of competition, like you say. You try to find ways of helping others, but it is not related to how much others give help. Only maybe if you help your group of people in order to be better than the other group.

    @ThinPicking no real need for sodium. Taiwan already has moped battery swaps. The US is not doing it because of clinging to old culture. It's "gay" not to try to rescue the regular way of life. Sodium will probably have the same specific energy once composite electrolyte is implemented.
