RE: Higher sugar consumption causing sweet smelling urine
@bantoidbelittler Look to the liver? or the thyroid? Or the Parathyroid The kidneys . Try lowering fat. I am going something similar to you the excessive thirst and urination and my labs didnt show diabetes but it showed elevated calcium which is most likely CKD or hyperparathyroid. Anyway the calcium in the blood can cause insulin resistance like symptoms. What has helped for me is lower fat, protien and salt intake. I have mainly been eating bread and butter yogurt and trying to avoiod phosphrus foods. Also taking vit E things have got a bit better but I still dont know what im dealing with. Also sometimes you have to take a step back from it for a day or two unless seer symptoms because the stress from obsessing about it will drive the sickness.

Fish oil causes cancer in dogs. Suggestions?
Ray peat citated this in one of his articles.
That dogs fed cod liver oil were 20x times more likely to get cancer.
My mom currently feeds our young pup "The farmers dog"
Which is apparently all raw food.
Except the catch is it has insane amounts of fish oil in it.
I think they cook it in fish oil before hand as well.
thefarmersdog.com
Now my mom I don't blame her for this she has just been gaslighted by the mainstream into thinking this is healthy for our dog.
Our dog is generally skinny but has insane amounts of fat around the neck.
She is always begging for our food and is low energy and nervous all the time. Also she snores due to the fat around her neck.
I want to tell my mom we need to change our dogs diet but I don't know how. Do you guys have any studies you could show me to prove this to my mom? I cant find any on google.
Also any dog food ideas or brands would be welcome.

RE: Hyperparathyroid at 17 in a bind
@yerrag Yeah I would describe myself as acidic now. I have really bad sleep and low t so that adds to it.
So I should check creatine clearance test, check pth vit d and ionized calcium?
I want to see if the kidney or PTH came first. I do think PTH is more likely but I wonder if it is curable naturally once I get DJS and am able to get a goods night sleep and low stress. However if its a ademona n the PT then I would assume not?
My salvia feels thick and sulphury and I would call it a unquenchable dry mouth/thirst. If I don't drink water I get a burning in my right side. I also have very foamy urine I am worried it is something more severe such as cancer etc. If it is I will use it as a opportunity. I am going to get blood drawn again in a week or so so ill make another thread then. I also am going to chec t3 t4 and some other things -
RE: Hyperparathyroid at 17 in a bind
Also I dont know if its my kidneys or parathyroid that is the main issue that started this they are still checking my kidneys this is hard to deal with

Hyperparathyroid at 17 in a bind
So I though for the longest time that I had diabetes because I was adding sugar into my diet and it was not working. However my parents finally took me to the doctor and they are saying its hyperparathyroid as I had high calcium in my blood and normal blood sugar. Although I am still paranoid about the diabetes because I have insane excessive thirst but I think it is because my kidneys are starting to go due to having elevated PTH phosphate fatty acids etc for a long time. Im not sure what other issues I have yet. I also seem to have quite low testosterone but this could be for many reasons as I have sleep disordered breathing so i wake up gasping for air a few times a night. Im not sure if it was the kidney or High PTH that came first to be honest or if its something completely different. Im so unsure of what to eat. If anyone has been in a situation like this please give some recs.
What food, supplements etc should I be consuming.
'
I am trying to limit protein and fat because of the kidneys. I also cant seem to handle sugar. So im thinking so far Kale seems to be safe for me. but im not sure what else to eat. I need to keep pth low but also be mindful of my kidneys this feels impossible.
I can post my blood test results later and I will probably see an endocrinologist soon. -

RE: 22yr old male presents with estrogen levels of 1525 pg/mL
@Lob NGL one thing that I think I might have is called klinefelters XXY. Basically its where you have a extra x chromosome as a man and it causes you to have low test and it has become more and more common as their are more virtue signalers and people looking to profit off the sick. Within a few years the prevalence went from 1 in 2000 to 1 in 500. Mainstream medicine calling it genetic error LOL.
If you do have it, small testicals is the main symptom. Life can still be enjoyed even if you have XXY but it really is just a product of these endocrine disrupting times. -

Really bad blood suagr crashes, possible hypothyroid
Ngl I cant get on thyroid at the moment.
I was eating high fat and low carb and pufas in there before I found out about ray peat.
Now I have been trying to eat more carb and less fat and I cut all pufa to my knowledge though I still do get some from chicken and eggs :C. But I get hungry 24/7 and I get really good highs and really bad sugar lows almost felt like passing out it sucked. I run more hyperglycemic I think.
Is it not possible to return to glucose oxidation when your hypothyroid?
What should I do what do I eat so I can have stable blood sugar and return to glucose oxidation after all these years?
Or any resources you guys can direct me to?
I really don't want this crashes to keep occurring I fear ill blackout home all alone.
-Thanks -
How much Vit E should be taken daily
If you eat some pufas and want to supplement with some vitamin e how much should you take is 400iu too much daily?
Also is Nature made Vit E okay or is there a better brand that isn't made from soybeans? -
What do you guys think of Trump now that he won
I never had faith in either candidates.
Lots of ties to Israel.
Trump seems like a puppet for something more sinister.
But I could be wrong. -
How to handle blood sugar spikes at 17
Ok so over summer and basically all my life I've had consistent pufa intake not all my meals but lots of fast food etc.
Over summer I ate a shit ton of sat fats and pufas but I thought it was fine because I thought sat fat = test.
I started getting bad diabetes symptoms painful urination blurry vision pain in my feet because as soon as I heard about ray peat I threw sugar especially Mexican coke on top of all that fat.
So I thought I learned my lesson and I started to cut out pufas which helped but I was still mainly eating sat fats and low carb. Then when I still try to add in fruit my body cant processes it So I get very bad blood sugar crashes.
This morning in school after eating yogurt apple and maple syrup I had a terrible crash and felt like I was going to pass out.
I also have very frequent urination and thirstiness and feet pain still.
Another main problem is I need to eat like every 2 hours or else I get really tired/lightheaded and cant focus also sometimes accompanied with a headache.
Also I have to drink fluorinated water right now and I don't get great sleep as I'm living in a cramped apartment with my family.
My current forehead temp is 97 degrees (Although this may be inaccurate I did have my hoodie on also I ate 2 hours ago and I have had temps as low as 96 or so.So as i switch from High fat low carb to high carb low fat how can I manage these blood sugar crashes what should I be eating?
What should my carb to fats to protein ratio be as someone my age?
Should I avoid starches like pasta and bread?
Im trying to stay low stress.
Any advice is welcome
-Thanks
