    @dt In general I think the more hydrogenated it is, the more it will be like fully saturated fat. Partially hydrogenated should be fine, as even unrefined coconut oil only has trace amounts of PUFA

    @ElijahKrings Thank you! I had not heard about the Achilles tendon test before, will definitely test it out before the NDT arrives, and compare later on. I have become hypo after eating Macs for lunch and dinner for the past 11 years (2012 -2023). Found Peat's principles in mid 2023, and just cutting out the pufa made me feel and look so much better. Still a lot of junk to clear out, so thinking NDT will help in accelerating the process.

    @idealabsrat hmmm. then I am not entirely sure. usually, abrupt changes can alter your metabolism... vitamins, minerals, hormones all going through different changes. you're best off going to the doctor and getting a check up. hormones, b vitamins, iron, vitamin d, zinc, copper, immune system, blood cell count

    @Peatly Great article, thank you. I've been using 5000 IU in olive oil since that's what I have available. I may stop the iodine to avoid confounding variables. I did take before pictures, so if it works, I'll provide proof. If any of you have application suggestions, I'm happy to test them. The olive oil is a little inconvenient.

    @Chud why ondansetron? ginger ive found helpful and also raises t, lowers cortisol. interestingly, nausea seems bit common in raypeat sphere. maybe dopamine agonists plays into it

    I have phimosis, but over the last few years (of Peating, although that could be coincidence), it has gotten better. I do not get hurt so easily during sex. But that was after many times of having the foreskin basically get painfully stuck down on the shaft during sex, which probably stretched it out.

    @cornwallis I purchased doxycycline tablets from Mexico, only one box of 10 tablets. I experienced with several low doses, and can recommend staying below the 40mg to avoid development of bacterial resistances. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4421036/ I experimented with the following dosages: On the first day, I took half a tablet (50mg) and experienced slight intestinal discomfort. This prompted me to reduce the dose to 25mg once every 24hours. After about 2 days of this I increased the dosage to 25mg every 12 hours, this was in an attempt to keep reducing the bacterial load at a steady pace. Keep in mind I did this without any advice or instruction from any doctor or medical expert. I ended up only consuming about 225mg total, and have 7.75 tablets left over. I would recommend staying upright during the first 20-30minutes of consumption and if you can handle it, on an empty stomach. Make sure to be careful with sunlight exposure as doxycycline can make you very sensitive to sunlight exposure.
