@raytreats said in Hitting a wall in my cut, stuck at 225 lbs, 6’2. Any advice?: I am open to any suggestions! Hi, Here are some key points to optimize the situation when you want to lose weight, not muscle. Plateau possible for 8-12 weeks. Never eat less than 80 % of your required body needs, except if you eat on a 5.2 diet (2 days with less K/calories, not consecutive). Or the brain often slows metabolism down. Target between 1.8 – 2.2 g protein per kilo body weight (1 kg = 2 pounds). +/ 35 g protein per take, otherwise you overload your metabolism and you store fat (conversion) if you don’t take enzymes. E.g. EnzyMedica, lipogold 120 caps. The one I use when I eat a lot of fat. Fat isn't a problem because it contributes to satiety and slows down digestion, with a positive impact on blood sugar levels. Insulin and stress management are two key elements in weight management. Target MUFA’s (olive, avocado and macadamia nuts) because the body burns them very well. The first meal of the day is very important in insulin management. This has an impact on the rest of the day. No crispy cereal (Kellogg’s), 250 ml orange juice, nor yaourt. Eat rather an orange (with fibber). If you drink an orange juice, 100 ml max at one time and go afterwards for a 20’ walk One example: 2 fruits, among which one red berry fruit, with a white full fat-cheese. Use 1 tsp honey and 1 tsp coconut syrup (or Maple syrup). No agave, nor added cane sugar (devitalized). No yaourt here (with a meal), to avoid insulin stimulation (110 level). Add one slice of cheese (Gouda type) and 1 or 2 slices ham. Mind nitrite. You’ll need 500 mg L-ascorbic acid powder (1/16th tsp) to counteract nitrite to avoid nitrosamine formation (cancerous). To be taken 5’ before the meal or just at the beginning. I use the Scottish label – Quali-C– to avoid the rubbish one. No acerola. A shake with collagen powder could help (2 tsp = 10 g). Rice has a not so good GI (glycemic index). I remedy this situation by adding a legume. A diet rich in protein does not guarantee a sufficient intake of lysine when eating cereals (wheat, rice, corn). You lack lysine to optimize the nitrogen balance (a full range of amino acids). => 5 scopes basmati rice (5x 11 g) with 3 scopes pink lentils. I add 1 big tsp butter. You adapt the amount to your desiderata. Pink lentils have more or less the same time cooking (11’). Vary the type of carbs / starch + vegetable (fibber) if you don’t want to feed one type of intestinal bacteria. Transit must be OK with starch. A meal should always begin with fibber and meat (with fat) to optimize the insulin management. See Jessie Inaupsché – the Glucose Goddess – if you need examples. I can give a link with explanations, if interested. Stress management is very helpful to avoid AA cascade and the cessation of lipolysis. The secretion of adrenaline, then cortisol, will lead to a change in blood sugar management. We switch to a different mode, with muscle degradation. Hope it can help.

As a counterpoint, I think I've crashed my estrogen with both androsterone and 11kDHT in the past but never noticed anything with my joints because I was taking boron at the same time.

@thezynmaster have experience with tbol from PPL, Tbol is like a milder form of dbol or anadrol. You need testosterone or else you will crash hormones after a few weeks / post cycle. Just run 250mg total test pinned twice a week with tbol and you will get strong as fuck if you lift right. Ive been buying from PPL since 2017 theyre good to go. Not a shill just a dude whos been doing steroids for a long time lol. For the past 6ish months ive been taking tiny doses of anadrol (from PPL) as well, Ive put on 85-100 lbs in all my lifts but also been very consistent and on 250-300mg cypionate a week. You will for sure have a boost in strength and endurance when lifting but the drugs are only as important as how you workout, what you eat, and how well you sleep. for reference from personal experience with the orals in terms of strength/side effects. Superdrol>Anadrol/Dbol>Tbol I have taken all and Tbol is was milder than Sdrol and the anadrol/dbol. I also was taking milk thistle or TUDCA daily to help with liver strain.

@engineer I can't use the entire weight because I somehow lost some of the sand bags (probably while I was moving, a former colleague once said "Moving three times is like being burglarized once"). The max weight is about 20kg now, That weight is good for exercises like pushups or body rows where you make quick progress and can carry more added weight. The vest I have is also pretty tight, so it doesn't bother me much with pushups. It's also good for weighted jump squats. I don't have a pullup bar right now, but I don't think I could ever reach multiple pullups with 20/25kg added weight. I could hardly do eight pullups without vest even when I was still young and in good shape. It's definitely a great addition.

I started going to the gym again in early February (after avoiding it for 6 years) and simultaneously started using Tyronene for the first time. I do a drop of Tyronene before I do a gym session, and usually a drop afterwards too, both orally. I was hesitant to use Tyronene at first because of the reviews from people that say it works nowhere near as well as Cynomel and is a waste of money, but I've found it to be very effective for an easy boost.

@hawk1 I have similar concerns to you regarding suppression. So, despite that, I have also gone the nuclear route with 500mg a week of T isocaproate. Surprisingly, I haven't detected much suppression if any because vitamin E, pregnenolone/DHEA, and progesterone all work to oppose estrogen and prolactin which are the main underlying mechanisms behind endogenous shutdown. This is all because regular T aromatizes, unlike 11KT, which shockingly does NOT! So even if you're not already doing other Peaty things you are already in a low risk position.

@LunaticRed what @alfredoolivas said along with inhibiting cortisol, positive androgenic effects like increased strength, bone growth, anti-anxiolytic, controls blood sugar, controls inflammation from endotoxin. The list goes on. In reality, it is the TRUE male hormone.

i'll give you an actual answer... one you might know already. to get jacked requiring the minimal amount of physical stress would be arthur jones / mike mentzer inspired training. hypertrophy itself is a stress response so there's no perfect answer. however, the benefits of being muscular (within reason of course) greatly pay off for the temporarily induced stress. remember, peat was not completely against stress, especially voluntary stress that gives us rewards.

@raytreats said in Intense exertion headache when lifting caused by muscle tightness in shoulders / neck?: @Jennifer she's small and doesn't quite have the strength needed to do that - but i agree it's helpful. I used to have a MuscleHook which is a really great product for getting those trigger points in your shoulders yourself. I have to see if I still have it somewhere. I understand. I’m also small, and not the strongest. I let my body weight do most of the work when I give massages. Not sure if this would work for her, too, but I have the person lie on their stomach, and while straddling them, I take the lower part of my palm and press into the knot, while moving upward using my body weight for pressure. The forward movement feels really good after the abuse of pushing on the knot lol, however, I have found just pressing into the knot with my weight and then letting up to be effective.
